Above average stay for a decent stay under INR 1000. It located in a safe locality in Tibetan colony amidst the eateries , cafes and shops. Rooms are simple but specious , neat and clean . Free wifi . Recommended to everyone

The staff here are really friendly, good for budget travellers - great value for money, good location in the Tibetan area, lots of nice restaurants and places where you can buy Tibetan souvenirs. Peaceful area.

Great break form the madness of delhi Great break form the madness of delhi

Difficult to spot down the alley way when your distracted by all the monks in red robes and tibetan stalls! When you get to the entrance for the tibetan camp (theres a big sign and usually a pile of rubbish outside with over eager tut tut drivers) go straight down the lane to the end, you can go either left or right, go right and Lhasa House is down one of the first 4lanes to your left ( sorry cant remember which one) just look down each one carefully before trakking down, its on the same lane as Wongdhen House (Hotel) and their sign is bigger so look out for that. The staff are very freindly and welcoming, Quite but helpful. The room we stayed in was a double bed with bathroom, with a window on to the alleyway which is very noisy at night so bring ear plugs! In general the room was fine, not so clean looking, and the bed quite hard, but as my second trip to india i really liked it here. When delhi gets a bit much its a well needed break to come back to the realxed little camp with monks strolling around on mobiles, lots of stalls, good internet cafe ( on the right as you walk in). Good bit out of town but well worth the stay, as you can haggle your way to town for better prices!
