Hotel is located centrally in the main city. Our room was neat and clean with all the necessities. The staff too was caring and polite. Also the food was fabulous in taste. It was worth the money we paid.

Hotel is located bit far from the business hub. My room was clean and neat with all the facilities. Staff was helpful with friendly nature. Even the food quality was average in taste. This is an average property.

Charming Old Style Colonial Hotel Charming Old Style Colonial Hotel

Beautiful building with large bedrooms and huge bathrooms, good food and friendly staff. The bar staff were especially friendly serving very good Indian wine and bar snacks. Stay here if you go to Delhi.

Caring above and beyond. Caring above and beyond.

Not only is this a very plush hotel but the staff are very very caring. My wife had been unwell and we had to call a doctor to see her. The hotel staff could not have done more to care for us. The housekeeping staff were particularly caring to the extent that they arranged special food to be prepared and served as a complementary addition to our other restaurant meals. Our friends were celebrating their wedding anniversary and a wonderful cake was awaiting them in their room. This is a very special hotel.

A gated oasis of peace in the Colonial style. A gated oasis of peace in the Colonial style.

Somewhat older than my 21 years when I last visited Delhi in 1972, happy to rough it, for our return trip we wanted something rather more civilised and TripAdvisor reviews led me to the Maidens Hotel. From the moment you sweep past the guarded entrance to a salute from security, to the helpful and friendly reception staff, passing the colonial facade and manicured gardens you feel special. The quality hotel car and uniformed driver with good English met us at the airport, delivered us back and in between gave us an excellent and informed tour of the main attractions of the City. A major upside of a guide is protection from the army of touts at every turn. (Guide/driver: Kishori Lal, +91 9910725951) The cleanliness of the hotel and no wish to waste time going down with Delhi Belly made us unadventurous so we took all meals in the 2 restaurants (Indian and International choices). The food was fine, tasty choice and good breakfast. Many English visitors when we there so we were able to swop travel tales over pre meal drinks. Bedroom fine, comfortable bed. The open air pool is unheated, and made for a chilly February swim! Very little to complain about, the bar and the international restaurant are too small. Certainly not cheap, think London prices, not Indian, but for us the value was there.

Great start to our trip! Great start to our trip!

This was our first hotel in a tour of the Golden Triangle, it is a beautiful, colonial style hotel. Our rooms were spacious, with a lounge area opening onto the bedroom and en suite. The staff are incredibly attentive, in my case British Airways had lost my luggage, and they were most keen to help (unlike BA who couldn't care less).......after an afternoon sightseeing we retreated to the tranquility of the hotel, and ate in the Curzon Room restaurant. Our meal was excellent, just the right amount of attention from the staff; a relaxing evening. We wandered around the grounds (there are gardens and a pool at the rear), and ate breakfast (a good choice of continental food) which also included food cooked to order (eggs, bacon, etc.). The beds are comfortable and very clean, bathroom has both a bath and walk in shower, and the walk in wardrobe was more than sufficient for our short stay. Thank you Maidens for your welcome to India.

From the moment we arrived until departure, the staff and management were warm, professional and helpful. Making our stay at the Maidens Hotel one of the most memorable events of the holiday. Our thanks to all.
