I picked the hotel as it was close to where I had to meet some friends after work, the rooms were very clean and had all basic amenities. Its a no frills hotel good for a business trip. The breakfast was a but of a let down.
But the best experience of this hotel for me was the reservation desk, where they helped me change my booking dates and also called me and asked me to book from a specific OTA which was giving me the best deal.
Worst Room service and breakfast quality ever seen. No proper ventilation in rooms.
Receptionists are very confused about their roles and responsibilities.
Major improvement required in all these areas so that people will think again to stay in Greater Kailash
A very basic and a dated hotel. The reception staff were were not at all pleasant.
As for the rooms the lighting was very poor quality as they had installed the horrible energy saving lamps. We had to ask them to change the bed sheet that were stained and the towels that were smelly and threadbare. No hot water in the evening unless you request it and have to wait 20 minutes for it. The breakfast that the hotel advertises as 'sumptuous' is roadside tea stall quality.
Do not be fooled by the nice pictures.
It's a good hotel in Greater Kailash area. The property is reasonably Priced also with good ambiance of rooms.Cleanliness makes it stand apart with well maintained rooms. A decent breakfast spread was served to us.Room Service was super quick. Staff is also very helpful.
To me, this hotel is priceless, but that is neither here nor there. My twin daughters were born around the corner at Fortis La Femme Hospital and were two months early, so I ended up staying in this hotel for almost two months. The last two weeks were with the girls there. Needless to say, this hotel will always be special to me. My heart would give it 10 stars (circles?), but realistically it is a solid hotel that offers really good value.
The staff were amazing. They understood my situation, and were very helpful, including helping me with baby supplies up, catching a tuk-tuk, or spotting my Uber car. The front desk was very attentive with laundry service, and good knowledge of the area.
The breakfast was decent, but it is more or less the same. If you want something different, a walk to M-Block Market is only 10 minutes, but most things there do not open until 8am. While the hotel showed some wear and tear, it never felt dirty. The staff do work hard to keep it up and you can see the cleaning every day.
The shower is strong, and the safe is large enough for a laptop and more. One thing on the shower, is that the note in the room says hot water is readily available between 6-10. However, I found that it is not always available at 6, but it is at 7 always available. After 10, the one time I took a shower, I could not get hot water even after waiting the 20 minutes it stated.
It's close to the airport in that you can sometimes wave to the pilots, but by car, plan on 30 minutes outside of rush hour, or 60 minutes during the day. The hotel seems an interesting mix of people as guests, and there are several hotels along this road, but the locals I interacted with suggested this was the best.
As others mentioned, there are numerous food options nearby, on foot, and the neighborhood is generally fine, just lots of harmless dogs having a layabout.
Room 303 was my home for many nights, and I like the room as it is set back from the main hall. No view really, but if there is noise in the hallway, you're less likely to hear it.
