Pathetic! Pathetic!

I stayed at this hotel very recently and would never recommend it to anyone. The hotel is located in one corner which makes it very difficult to find. The staff is far from friendly and welcoming. I was given a room on the third floor. The toilet seat had some brown marks and was stinking. I asked the staff to clean it for me while I was away at work. When I came back in the evening, there was no change. In addition to the stench from the toilet, there was a strong stench of smoke on the entire floor! I requested a shift in my room and was put up in the room on the mezzanine floor where there was only one room and a restaurant. The restaurant food was very bad! Sure shot recipe to acidity. There was noone other than me at the restaurant. I asked for black daal and they refused saying its not there. While on my way back to my room I saw one man walking along the corridor in a towel, not a sight that you wish to see in Delhi at night, also does not speak highly of the quality of the hotel. That night at 11:50 someone rang my doorbell. I did not open the door and called the reception instead. My room was visible from the reception, yet I was informed that they were not aware of who rang the bell and said that it could have been room service. I only realised the next day while ordering breakfast that room service/restaurant is open until 11 pm. So how could room service ring my bell at 11:50? The breakfast was tasteless. Around lunch i asked them to deliver spring rolls to my room to which I was met with rejection yet again. I was told that its not ready so we cannot cook it. I told them that spring rolls are not meant to be ready and should be cooked afresh, they tried dissuading me by saying let me ask the chef, it will take time, minimum half an hour - no enthusiasm to serve their guests. I had booked the hotel for 2 nights but I opted to leave the next day itself after my experience here. I would not recommend this hotel, especially for a woman traveling alone.

Oodles like any Delhi budget hotel looks great at entrance makes you feel walking into a 4* hotel. Moment you get in room fun starts...Room size is small compared to zip or Stallen suites bath should have been more cleaner. Linens were clean toiletries have to be asked for every day...was irritating. Food cost is high there are plenty options around Nehru place or Kalkaji. Good part is location close to Nehru place. Service moderate.

Difficult to locate. It took one & half hour to locate the hotel after reaching in this locality. While locating tried so many times on hotel Tel no but there was no response . I had booked on line & was traveling from US A to Delhi

Avoid staying at Oodles residency, Nehru Place. There is work going on for a metro station there which the staff didn't inform us and we had a lot of trouble getting there. When we called the mobile number printed on the booking vocuher we were were rudely asked to call the hotel number. Forget a welcome drink that was part of our package, they didn't offer us a glass of water on arrival. There are no bell boys to carry your luggage. The bathroom are in a bad state. There is NO HOT WATER in the bathrooms. On requesting the hotel staff we were told to inform half an hour in advance for hot water. The breakfast is poor. The room service closes at 10:30 pm which strange for a hotel in a metro. The hotel is located in some private society and the main gate of the society closes at 10 pm. The hotel staff didn't tell us about this and we had a lot of trouble finding our way to the hotel. A very disappointing experience overall. Avoid staying here!!

Next year the New Metro station will be only 100 m. The area will be upgraded. Now my cabdriver couldn't find this hotel. I had to help him with Googlemaps . Reception just a small reception. Rooms good also for business, not like Taj of course, but good good enough. Breakfast very simple, give more fruit, upgrade the furniture in breakfast area. Now too old. Maintenance of rooms good enough If the cabdrivers can find it, I'll come back.
