Frankly just bad.

Our stay was uncomfortable from the moment that we checked in. The man who greeted us asked to take our temperature due to the Corona virus (which was understandable), but he used malfunctioning equipment, and the temperature was in Fahrenheit rather than Celsius. I was traveling with two doctors, and they made a remark about how they would prefer a reading in Celsius, since it's the universal measurement scale. To make a very long story short, the man's wife was sitting on a couch behind us, and she started making disparaging remarks about how my friends weren't actually doctors if they didn't understand Celsius. Rather than make the awkward situation more tenable, she started laughing and taunting us, saying that we were overly defensive and should go to the hospital.
When we got upstairs, one of our rooms wasn't clean. The bedroom itself was fine, but the bathroom
a) had a filthy bathmat with dirty footprints all over it
b) had a dirty shower drain with big clumps of hair and soap flakes in it
c) didn't have fresh toiletries: the shampoo had obviously been used
d) had a dirty DIAPER in the trash.
It took at least twenty minutes for this all to be fixed.
The bed was comfortable, but we couldn't sleep all night because the toilet was broken and the water was running all night. Since the toilet was broken, we also couldn't flush anything.
The host who checked us in was pretty nice to us, but kept pressuring us to go to his store, which is in the hotel itself. He asked us to go there when we were on our way out to dinner, pressuring us "just to take a look." He pressured us again the next morning. The last straw was when I was rushing to go to the airport, and as I was waiting for my taxi to arrive, he said "You have five minutes now, so you can look at my shop. Just a quick look. Maybe some shawls?"
Kindness and honesty

This may be a different type of appreciation that I would like to share today but its an important one in my eyes.
My wife and I are having a new professional adventure in India and booked this place last week, not knowing where to go close to my wife's new professional office. After arriving late that night we immediately understood that the room was too tiny to accommodate us with our heavy luggage. So, after spending one night we very openly consulted the management and more precisely Mr Ashiq whom referred to the owner with our request to cancel our stay.
This demand was approved in less than to say and the staff helped us graciously to find a taxi that would bring us to a larger place.
If I witness this story, it is to underline that in life, even more importantly than the quality of the stay there are values which are essential as they touch the human nature of exchange.
In this regard, I can but command the place as your trust will be taken in good faith. That is more than worth mentioning.
And, for the few moments I spend in the room, this B&B is very well situated and the price is comfortable within New Dehli.
So, backpackers if you want a place of genuine people, this is one.

Orania is a nice place that looks great. The rooms are nicely done with good taste and looks modern. The WiFi, breakfast is timely provided. The staff especially Aashiq is very friendly, goes out of his way to make you comfortable and is concerned and is always ready to help. The windows in the room can however be modified with additional grill for more safety. Importantly I felt very safe in this place. Will recommend to all solo travellers for a budget stay in Delhi. And will definitely come back again next time.
Excellent and cozy

We stayed for 4 nights at orania and I could say its the best abode for low budget travel. Its convenient to travel around wherever you want as they have their own transportation.staffs are approachable and nice. Rooms are clean and facilities are modern.

I highly recommend this place. I had a very comfortable 2nights stay..Mr AtaGooro was very gentleman and kind. He made sure to attend to my requests. Hes honestly like a father figure especially to a mildly anxious solo female traveler like me who had my first time visit in India..i felt very safe and comfortable.. I came back to hotel very late and still they attended to my needs like late dinner, car ride to airport,etc..
Commendable
