Stay well away Stay well away

Had 2 nights at the start of a 10 day tour of India and 1 night at the night, a tour booked through Southall Travel. Terrible hotel, dark and dirty. Pictures on line are very deceiving to what you get. My friend and I had a 'Deluxe room'......I don't think so !!!! Had to get bed linen changed when we arrived, no water in the room, no kettle, windows & curtains were so dirty you couldn't see out, & not much for breakfast, just toast. The area was appalling and ruff. Don't stay there

Omg ....!!!!!!! Omg ....!!!!!!!

Booked as part of golden triangle package ...and as thiswas the start of my india experience had a minimal expectation ..thank god ..did it reach it ..NO ..!! Dirty ... dark ..damp ..dilapidated..dismal .. Dangerous ...Delhi belly high risk area ...linen DIRTY and damp ...fixtures and fittings ...appaling condition ...staff not really that friendly apart from the old man who opens the door he always smiled ...the breakfast was extremely sub standard ..and if we'd been staying any more than 2 night's was have walked out and booked something else. This is not even a 2 star ..so do yourself a favour miss Delhi and head straight to Agra and there you'll get a two star homestay that is actually 4 star service and comfort ..

Mid budget hotel close to IIT Delhi Mid budget hotel close to IIT Delhi

by vilayilpradeep on February 6, 2017

I opted this hotel because it was very close to one of the gate of IIT Delhi. Hotel location is bit far from main road, which give a calm environment. I stayed for a week here. I would say that rooms are spacious, but looks bit old. Age old air-conditioner was making noise Bathrooms also is same. staffs were very helpful. Complementary breakfast was below standard as most of the day they had same sandwich, with aloo paratha/idly and one sabji. Dishes were not hot and not so tasty. Dinner is bit expensive. I would recommend to just cross the main road and there is an excellent vegetarian restaurant called Govardhan, which opened very recently.

Appalling hotel in Delhi Appalling hotel in Delhi

We booked 3 nights at this hotel as part of the Golden Triangle Tour from Southall Travel. We ended up only staying one night (reluctantly) and then checking in to the Park Hotel due to the standard of accomodation being so bad. We were shown three rooms and all were of the same poor standard. This hotel is not fit for purpose. The rooms are disgusting - they are dark, damp, bed linen and towels were dirty, there was no hot water, there was no electricity in one of the rooms we were shown, a door that did not lock, the list is endless. This is the worst hotel we have ever had the misfortune of staying in....avoid booking at all costs!

Delhi dive Delhi dive

We booked 3 nights at the Qutub as part of a Golden Triangle tour from Southhall travel. All hotels were to be 3 star, those in Agra and Jaipur were both good, and showed what we expected of a 3 star hotel. The Qutub is dark, dingy and dirty. The rooms lacked natural light even if they had Windows, they had peeling wall paper, damp plaster, and intermittent electricity. The rooms on the front were consistently noisy due to proximity to a busy road junction. The bathroom was filthy, and hot water again intermittent. In 30yrs of travel across the globe this is without doubt the worst hotel we have stayed at.
