The hotel was good with a big lobby and clean rooms. It was not shady at all. Breakfast was ok. Only concern is the locality which is very crowded. All in all its value for money.

For single person Classic room was fantastic. Room was pretty small for 2 adults. But stylishly done. It had flat TV and the interiors were superb. Service was perfect.

Not nice Not nice

by Veans C on January 21, 2017

We stayed in 10 hotels in India during our tour with Intrepid, and this was the worst. The location was alright - close to the market, and 10 minutes walk to a metro station. The room was small and dark without a proper window. The shower was sometimes hot and sometimes not. The food was ok. We had to leave our rubbish bin outside of the room to hint them to service the room, and they charged us 540 rupees for the service! They told me the laundry would be ready at night when I dropped it off in the morning, then gave it back to me that night unwashed, because "the shop closes on Mondays".

The place was booked by one of our friends and I happen to check the reviews.. I was literally scared after reading about mice and all. Contrary to my expectations, the hotel was big, in a good location and in budget. We needed it for just one day and nothing luxurious. It suited our requirements completely. Rooms - spacious, clean, ventilated but did not have enough charging points. WiFi could be better. No hot water unless asked for. Breakfast - A good spread and average taste. Bathrooms - Average In short, either I am lucky I got good room or they have improved their services. Either way, i was satisfied.

I visited this hotel with my friends for a couple of days. The Hotel was superb, the location is great as all the shops we at walking distance from the Hotel. Everything around the Hotel was very lively. You cannot get bored there for sure. We used to go around Karol Bagh every evening to refresh ourselves for a hectic day of Delhi sight seeing. The Rooms were nice and clean, Hotel gave us free Wifi and good breakfast. Hotel had a bar with live music which was great and enjoyable too.

Hit or miss Hit or miss

I stayed there as part of an Intrepid trip. We arrived the night before and were actually given a decent room although the water wasn't always hot. We were told that we would have to change rooms, but they changed their minds the next morning. Several people on the tour reported bed bug bites. When we returned at the end of the tour, we were put into the part of the hotel that was next door. It was in horrible shape. The electricity kept cutting out, and the internet was inconsistent. There was "handle with care" tape along the tub, holding it together. We wanted to have a last night together beer. They had closed down the bar and were going to charge double the price so we went somewhere else. We asked about changing some money, and they offered a really low rate. The staff was apathetic at best.

Mice in room Mice in room

by Erin M on December 28, 2016

Intrepid needs to use a new hotel! Where to start? Room is filthy, there are dust balls, stains in the shower, and we had a mouse in the room. It scampered over me in bed while taking a nap and when we first complained a hotel guy chased it into the air conditioning unit and said the mouse was gone. We thought he had shooed it outside, but it came back like ten minutes later and we asked to switch rooms. Two men came up and couldn't find it and said "it's fine it's fine no mouse" -- we asked for a new room and they said there was no mouse so we didn't need a new room...and right on cue the mouse scampered out of my backpack and across the floor. They gave us the room next door, reluctantly, and left the door to the mouse room open... The first room also did not have hot water at all (nothing came out of the left faucet -- a guy came up and turned on the cold water saying it would turn warm eventually...it didn't, but honestly cold showers are a minor issue when you have rodents crawling on you in bed). Second room had hit water but still filthy beyond filthy. I have stayed in many hostels in my day and am generally tolerant of a little dirt, but the combination of rodents and complacency takes the cake.
