The stay in this hotel was pretty good. The housekeeping was really nice. We stayed in deluxe room it was spacious with all the facilities. Food was tasty too.

Good value for money in its category (5*). We could get an extra bed. The 'Club' facility was marvellous - an excellent view. Breakfast was good and the Happy hour generous. Quality of drinks left nothing to be desired. All staff were courteous, the ameneties in the room were thoughtful and of good quality. Bed very comfortable. All in all an enjoyable experience in luxury.

What struck me as most amazing was the poor and arrogant service. For a hotel in this category, I thought that good service should be something that one could take for granted. Alas! That was not the case. It is tough to decipher what Shangri-La's true motives are. But, I did observe that their behavior was much better with foreigners than with Indians. If this observation is indeed reflective of how Shangri-La functions, it makes me sad.

Demo Trip I would suggest the Club Floor - The views are fabulous and they have all day service with breakfast and evening cocktails.
