First at all, we didn't made it to the hostel, so we can just write about the manager Harish. Our problems began, when we arrived at the airport and weren't able to connect with the WiFi (later we got told that only with an Indian SIM card we could receive the SMS for the password of the airport WiFi). So we took the Metro to the station one kilometer from the hostel and decided to walk from there. Making our long story short, we fell for a scam on that way and ended up paying a lot of money for something we did not want. Since we thought we had no other option we still did so. When we didn't arrive at his hostel Harish mailed us, asking where we ended up. After we told him, he helped us to get our money back. On the way he showed us some really nice places that are not so crowded. Without Harish it would have been far more complicated, if not worse. We can also recommend his blogs you can find on the Smyle Inn website. There you can find more information about the classic scams in Delhi and how to avoid them. Also there are some really nice recommendations for sightseeing in Delhi. From our experience with Harish we can only imagine, that the Smyle Inn is a great place to stay in Delhi.
