This hotel is clearly one of the best in Delhi. The restaurants were first rate as was the pool and health club. We were treated very well. Lovely hotel, room was clean, staff helpful and friendly, and food superb, particularly in the Masala art restaurant. Would definitely recommend.t. Would definitely recommend.

we have all our conferences in ashoka so we were always staying in ashoka samrat. this time we thought of having a change and opted for taj palace.and what a great change it was.from our entry, at the front desk , the room and amenities, the staff, everything was so perfect that i must say though we always stay in five star hotels and the experience was always good the taj experience was really outstanding

We stayed here for 3 nights and after the long flight from the US it was a very comfortable place to arrive very late at night. Greeted with juice and a bindi and check in was quick by the excellent, friendly staff. The included buffet breakfast was excellent and served in a beautiful, large restaurant. There were many choices (western and Indian) as well as dishes cooked to order. If they didnt have something on the buffet, for instance, steamed rice, they happily got it for you. The room was spacious, and nicely decorated with a comfortable bed and linens. Good internet speeds with the free wifi in the room. The bathroom was large with separate tub and shower with plenty of hot water. There was plenty of free water in the room, 4 bottles per day. There was a safe, mini fridge and coffee/tea maker, but no iron. The hotel had a luxurious feel and there were many places to dine or sit and relax either in the lobby or out by the pool. This hotel comes at a premium cost and of course you can find cheaper, but after the long flight from the US it is always nice to be assured that you will arrive somewhere comfortable and be able to get a good nights rest. As for the location, I cannot comment on how easy or difficult it would be to get to the sights via public transportation as we had a private driver but the drive to the airport at 1:00 took about 30 minutes. With traffic, the drive to the main sights (Jama Masjid and Humanyans Tomb took about 30 minutes) We were very pleased with our stay and would recommend the Taj Palace.

Green ambience overall a lovely stay.Though located in the centre of Delhi the place is so peaceful and beautiful ,one cannot believe the property is in Delhi.The cuisine ,all the four restaurants and specially the SPA offers a memorable experience.

The hotel is in convenient location to see both old and New Delhi. Lovely grounds and very helpful staff. There are different choices for restaurants we tried the Indian and Chinese, both were good especially the Chinese. Very attentive staff and they immediately respond to any problem we had. Rooms have the necessary amenities, especially very large towels.

I stayed at the Taj Palace for 2 nights, what a fantastic experience. On arrival we were offered an upgrade to a club room, which allowed us access to the executive lounge. The service throughout the hotel was first class. My daughter and I were made to feel like 2 princesses. I could not give one negative comment about this hotel. Absolutely brilliant. Will definitely stay again and would highly recommend.
