The staff at Hotel Tashkent Palace were really friendly the moment we arrived, soaking wet from monsoon floods in Delhi. They helped us settle into our rooms and with advice during our trip. A good location, about 20 minutes walk from the train station. We booked a triple room, but it was very small for the three of us. Much better suited for 1-2 people. Nevertheless, the rooms were clean and we felt refreshed after we had slept for the night. There were some questionable, large holes in the bathroom walls. I am sure they were due to some piping being removed but I felt a bit paranoid and covered these holes up with some paper and tape. There generally seemed to be some building work being done in the hotel (no noise, just some clutter) so I'm hoping these holes will be fixed? Wi-fi connection was very poor during the stay. I had to make a few international phonecalls using my internet connection, and had to do it in the hotel lobby which was annoying as there were some staff sitting nearby. This was a bit annoying when trying to use whatsapp/book hotels. But the staff were understanding about how annoying this was, they just didn't seem to be able to do anything about it. Could have been because of the monsoon rains on the wires, but hard to tell. In summary, a decent place to stay. Just watch the room size and wi-fi connections.

Fantastic hotel and the staff are worthy of 5 stars! We arrived early morning and were still met with smiling faces (even if we woke them up) and helped with our bags to our room. Rooms are modern, clean and beds are extremely comfortable. Hot water shower was amazing after a day of walking the dusty streets of Delhi. Washing was cleaned and delivered back to us all in the same day and dinner was tasty. Staff were able to help us book both flights and trains with ease. Overall an extremely enjoyable stay and big thanks to the staff who make this place special.

Stayed here for our first few days in India. Arranged their pickup for 900rupees to save hassle at the airport. This worked really well for us. The older style room was reasonably clean and had a great shower with plentiful hot and cold water. There were a few old stains here and there but it was obvious that the towels and sheets were clean. The staff were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble and they really helped us out with navigating the hectic pahaganj. They are always trying to save you money and gave us some great information on how to avoid a few scams. Let us store our bags and have a quick shower once we'd checked out. There's a metro stop quite close the hotel, closer than New Delhi metro, ask the staff, its easy to find. If heading to New Delhi station to book train tickets, it's on the first floor of the station. Ignore everyone who tells you otherwise. And they will... For the price, really can't recommend this place enough.

The hotel is nice, with good location. The rooms in the new area are clean. The staff in the hotel are kindly and helps the visitor with orientation. Our flight was late in the night and we could leave our lagage inthe hotel and after another long day the staff gave us a room for refreshment before our flight back to Israel.

Improved since renovation works last year. Now there is an elevator. Neighbourhood is so so but close to metro station. Rooms have some dysfunctional things in the bathroom. Linen are not clean. Budget place.
