The hotel had great service and had enough options for dining.The only minor concern was that of room service not being pro active enough to change glasses,shampoos,towels,etc.But all in all,a nice experience.

Being Government owned, I was surprised with the overall Ambience and Quality , which is at par with any Five star property in Delhi. The rooms are newly renovated , Food quality is best. Especially for vegeterians, a special outlet is there.

Beautiful marble hotel in the middle of Delhi. Very comfortable rooms though a bit on the expensive side They have three different restaurants and we tried the Oudh which was good but not brilliant for the cost (10,000RS for four). Overall good place to relax as it has a spa (expensive) and a pool. Downsides: cannot have a beer by the pool even though they serve soft drinks in glass ? Nothing to eat by pool side either. We always had to ask for everything at least 2-4 times so service probably the worse aspect. And there's no smiles or anything from the staff. Food at breakfast (included) good and varied. Would I come back? Probably not as with a little more money you can have complete luxury at the Taj.

derstand that its a very old hotel so the infrastructure won't be as good but service atleast should be good. In The buffet breakfast, idli was hard and cold, only watermelon was available in fruits rest were all always away for refill. Fresh juice was also getting refilled so i asked the waiter to give me a glass when it comes from the kitchen but that never came. Noone asks for tea, coffee or even water. The lift is ages old and starts with a jerk, i suppose getting a new lift shouldn't be super tough just to make sure it feel safe. No newspaper given in the morning in the room, there's only TOI available in the room lobby. No hand towel was given on second day. There was very loud hammering and drilling coming from the room above, isn't it your duty to inform beforehand that there's maintenance work and noise will be expected, so that i can decide whether or not i want to stay there. No 5 star hotel 2 star.

There are plenty of indications to suggest that this is a government run property. Maintenance is average. Food is good, decor is nice, but rooms need serious upgrading. The most fatal drawback is the non-caring hotel staff who just care about their tips and nothing else. No welcome fruit basket was delivered, no one to guide guests about anything. You will need to wait for 30 minutes in the reception before someone caters to your needs. It's super crowded, and mismanaged.

Total disappointment. Great Lobby and reception to show off the royalty with bad quality of rooms. no maintenance, bathroom is quite old with broken woods,roaches running around. very basic rooms. breakfast was ok with limited variety. Room lock 's are so old that key does not work most of the time and you have to wait for at least 15-30 min every time to get assistance. Rooms and bathrooms needs maintenance badly. NO WTORTH FOR THE MONEY
