Awful experience Awful experience

Don't do it! It's not worth the low price/ not even for a night! There are plenty good affordable hotels in New Delhi.. the pictures from the hotel itself in here and (where I booked from) ARE NOTHING LIKE REALITY!! We asked for another room but that wasn't possible.. My boyfriend and I got out of there even though it was night and we had been traveling all day.. we considered staying for that one night, but we couldn't do it. I ended up paying for that one night, but at that point we didn't care! Went to City Star next door which was a complete different experience

unbelievable unbelievable

This hotel was one of the worst we've stayed in. The worst part was the terrible service - when we arrived we weren't greeted with a single smile and the man demanded to see our reservation in a hostile manner which should have already been on their system. We spent ages in awkward silence trying to find it while he looked at us as if we weren't welcome. Then he spent the next ten minutes analysing our passports as if we were at a police station. There was no welcome, no small talk, no smiling. We received the same attitude from every single member at reception, including the manager who ignored us for several minutes before finally acknowledging that we were standing there. The staff are all very rude and arrogant and we never felt like there was a good atmosphere in the hotel. It felt more like a prison. The next bad thing was the complete lack of basic amenities, there was no hot water even during the minimal hours that it was supposed to work (only in the morning and evening) so we spent about 3 full days without having a shower, when I complained a staff member just told me to use a bucket! Ridiculous. There was also no wifi signal in the room, in order to use wifi we would have to sit on a chair right next to the door or go outside and sit on the stairs which was very uncomfortable and deceiving since the room said it included wifi, when we complained to the management about it they didn't fix it. Also in the first room we stayed in the aircon was broken and the plug socket had melted which didn't look very safe. The next issue was the cleanliness. In both rooms we stayed in, the sheets were dirty with obvious stains on them from previous guest, the towels were ripped, the toilets were not clean, the room was dusty, the floor was filthy, and every piece of furniture had stains and dirt on it. There were cockroaches in both rooms and we ended up killing at least 5. The hotel is located in a central location but in an awful area, right on a highway and with a nightclub right next door from which we could hear he bass and therefore couldn't sleep on our first night. There aren't very many restaurants nearby either. Whenever we called for room service the man on the phone would deliberately hang up on us, and tell us that the food we wanted to order wasn't available even though it was. We had to keep going down to reception to order food because he kept dropping the phone on us, without even saying sorry or goodbye, he would just say 'no no' and drop the phone. It was so rude and made me very upset. We had free breakfast included in our room rate but when we went downstairs to ask about it the manger claimed it wasn't included, we had to show him our booking to even get our breakfast. It was so humiliating and the options were terrible and very limited, basically a choice of toast or an omelette. There were hardly any people in the hotel except a number of Indian men who didn't look like staff or guests. It was a very dodgy environment. This really shouldn't be a hotel at all and the staff need a lesson in hospitality as it is by far one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in.

Courtesy level of the staff was excellent. Lovely hotel with a great (huge) room! The wifi was excellent as we're all the other facilities. General desire to help and the food had variety and taste. The restaurants were good serving a mix of good food.

Demo Trip Don't talk with the receptionist which is not professional at all, just ask for Mr Mohit Sharma. He helped me a lot!
