I stayed in Golden Palms hotel in Jan 2017, nice boutique hotel with friendly staff. Value for money and well location in east Delhi, earlier I stayed their Mussorrie hotel, plus location with nice views.

Terrible Terrible

They say you must not judge a book by its cover but in this case it is the inverse. The hotel appears to be great on the outside but once you enter you are welcomed by a horrible stink of the carpet. The rooms have bathrooms with Paan stains on the walls and curtains.The fitments are broken in some rooms. We had called up the room service for towels but thy responded after two hours of constant calling. The food is also terrible .We had ordered for Paneer Makhani but they gravy was hot and the paneer cold. Overall I had a bad experience with them And I recommend this place at ones own risk.

Its a very good business hotel.... Location is vey muchbon NH 24 STAFF is polite and welcoming value for money very well decorated rooms.......also have Spa and Restaurant....food is costly but tasty breakfast good but i think they can improve....overall i like it..and i definitely recommend this property

The first time experience on this hotel and definitely the last one. I would write something good if I found any.. Bads: 1) Filthiest restroom I have ever seen. Worse than new delhi railway station.. see the pictures to believe it 2) shower water mixer is broken, either too hot water or too cold 3) Hair drier was broken 4) nothing is close from there unless u take a cab. 5) checkin is pain in the but... Avoid at any cost

By far, it is the worst 3/4 star hotel I ve stayed in. Justification:- 1. Service is third rate. Especially the front desk reception staff. In some ways, they define the failure this place is. 2. Staff is always busy doing something that doesn help any guest. 3. The corridors in all the floors are dirty and they smell really bad. 4. There is NO WIFI, even though they claimed and it was a torture speaking with them to resolve the issue. 5. We had to wait for two hours upto 1500h to get our rooms ready even though we arrived at 1300h. 6. None of the other guests were happy. They flew from outside India and felt they have been stuck here since someone else had booked it for them. 7. Oh, the view from the room!.. People taking craps outside in the open grounds. 8. Minibar is empty. 9. You have to wait ages for the elevator to get to your floor. Only 2 elevators for the entire hotel. Rooms are nice though, only respite!. Stay inside if you are INSIDE the Golden Palms.. .... Guys, there are far better options available, look for something worthwhile.
