I love Heritage home in Main Bazaar, but this time my friend insisted that we stay in Yes please. I've stayed there some years ago once and it was fgood enough, so I said Yes (please ))).
I was pleasantly surprized: The room was quite big and looked even cleaner than the last time I stayed here. The bathroom was Immaculate! which doen't happen all that often in budget hotels. In India.
The service was quite efficient too: there was no toiletries when we arrived but after i called the reception everything was delivered in literally under 2 minutes, the taxi to the airrport which I ordered at the reception arrived on time etc.
So next time I am in Main Bazaar I'll face a choice where to stay.., Which is much better than having no choice :-)
i like this guest house, as i stay here for 2 months, friendly staff, neat clean rooms, very budgeted. The location of this guest house is very good , metro station & railway station is also very near ,lots of shops are available it is situated in middle of the Pahar Ganj. The beat thing in this guest house i like is this that they are very cooperative they allowed me to make my own meal in their own kitchen. They also provide me special rates to me as i stay here for 2 Months.
From onward if will come next time to Delhi, I will Stay here.
Very basic accom, unfortunately rooms are very hot and damp as there are limited windows so feels like there is no air in the room. We only had a fan room, so maybe with aircon it would be better, but for the price of aircon room you could upgrade to a much better location and room right on the Ganges. Hotel manager is also extremely pushy, trying to take you to his silk factory, which can be annoying as your hotel should be a place to escape the touts and hassles of the streets. Other staff were very friendly and helpful.
We found much better quality accomodation at the same price right on the ghats.
This budget guest house is clean, and have a very very friendly staff and personnel. You will get hot water, TV and clean beds. plus there is a nice kitchen which you can give order for nice and tasty home made indian food. I had to spend around 2 weeks in Delhi, and this guesthouse was becoming like my second home. But dont confuse, because there are several Yes Please hotels in Pahar ganj. you can book your rooms in advance by sending e.mail to the guest house manager (Mani Punjabi) : firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
hope you enjoy your trip in India !
