The hotel is good just like any other Club Mahindra. The staff is courteous and received a very good reception on arrival with welcome drink and refreshing towels to start the stay. The room allotted to us was close to the parking lot and had a car parked next to the entrance most of the time which was annoying. They can easily ask the drivers to park in the parking lot rather than in front of the room. Also, the size of the room was smaller, don't know if its coz we booked it as a non member. The facilities here are limited as compared to other CMs. In addition, the dining options are limited and very expensive for a non member. It costs a family of four (two kids below 10) a good Rs. 4500 per day which in my opinion is expensive for two meals. Also, there is nothing that you can do if you decide to venture out of the hotel for a stroll. Not an ideal place for a relaxing vacation..! Its not bad at all but not the ideal vacation spot as well.

it was one of the best hotels i have stayed in and there was lot of option of food in dining...the room was superb but very good room service and housekeeping.....the location was very nice and the hotel facilities including the games room and bonfire was amazing

Worthy to stay:)

We felt quite at home. The location of the hotel is excellant. Food was very good. The staff of the hotel were very cordial, helpful and enterprising. It's like 'Home away home' for us.

I had stayed over in Room No.3019. Even though I had requested for early check-in at morning 7am on 20th July 2011. I was made to wait in the reception for about 30mins before a studio room was given and later in the evening I was asked to relocate to a lousy room No.3019, which had the following problems: 1) Water clogging problem inside the Bathroom 2) Nearly 10 House flies were found after we relocated to Room No.3019 and I had to call room service thrice to kill flies with the help of a Mosquito Swatter. 3) Tissues in toilet were not sufficient and had to call room service often to get extra tissues 4) On 22nd July, no towels were kept in the room and once again I had to call room service 5) Site seeing offered at the hotel was costlier. Best option is to visit near bus stop and hire a private vehicle. Which works out cheaper. GOOD POINTS: 1) Breakfast service was too awesome. The boys were so helpful and food was amazing. Undoubtedly the best. 2) Lawn area is neatly maintained. Especially near the security area. good view of the main Ooty road. 3) Option of private horse riding within the hotel was very nice.
