Except the front desk the hotel staff are arrogant and unfriendly. Even after charging for extra person in room they did not provide additional complimentary tea bags. They could not provide ice cubes after repeated requests. Finally they said they would provide ice cubes after an hour and that one hour never ended. Rooms are devoid of acoustics and sound of brawl from outside ruined our sleep. The basin in bathroom had cracks which proves that housekeeping is useless. Extra mat was given but nobody bothered to lay it down for use.
Overall poor customer service.
We stayed in Welbeck for 5 days. I stayed in several hotels but this was by far the best i experienced. Very friendly staff , food is amazing , connectivity was good, rooms are neat and clean and best part is the service. Whenever we call for any service the staff present immediately. I will definitely recommend others to stay here.
If there is one thing that I will remember Welbeck for is the service. There were 30 of us and for many of them it was the first trip down south. In spite of the language problem they were able to look after us very well. An impromptu bon fire with music on the terrace was the icing on the cake and made our stay in Ooty a memorable one.
While all the staff were very good, I must make special mention of front desk manager Mr. Sundar and the two young ladies Sarika and Juna who went beyond the call of duty to make our stay an enjoyable one.

I stayed welbeck residency for two days with my family and brother's family,very nice experience.well maintained rooms and bathrooms.complimentry breakfast was very delicious.hot water available between 6 am to 10 am and 6 pm to 10 pm. They arranged site seeing facility. Room cleaning to be improved because on 2nd day they gave same bed sheet dirty one.over all good experience.
