Beautiful property, clean rooms, well maintained, curtious and helping staff. Had also arranged for sight seeing and cab services.especially good budgeted resort.we went by family and really enjoyed at resort.

Don't visit this place at any cost , Worst hotel ever seen. Don't go on photos uploaded by management. Rooms & bathrooms are too ugly & not suitable to stay. Rooms & facilities given by hotel are just like low budget hotels

We visited as a family of 2 and we booked directly through the hotel, not through any other site. Therefore, we had interacted personally with the manager of the hotel, who was a very pleasant person and took care of everything very well. We had seen the previous reviews and therefore clarified with him on things that were important to us - as a result, we knew exactly what we would get. We had visited during the peak season when rents are very high all over Ooty, yet we were able to get a decent room within our budget, where the geyser worked well and we had a great view from our room and terrace (one of the few rooms with a terrace). We had come prepared with a water kettle and this was of much help as it meant that we could have hot tea whenever we wanted. The room comes with an attached kitchen. Breakfast was served between 8 and 10 AM in the common dining hall. This hall is rather small so it is best to go as early as possible. Lunch and dinner are also served in the common dining hall and upon request, lunch and dinner can be served in the room as well. We had a quilt but no blankets and it turned out to be rather unusually cold. However, since we could manage, we did not ask for blankets. There were no heaters in the rooms but then again, we did not really require them at that point. This is a residential style setup and it would be wise to speak to the management directly instead of going through agents and other sites as we did notice that some people did not get what they assumed they would and were very frustrated. There are also autos and cars available to take you from the resort to the city and beyond. We had travelled from Metupalayam to Ooty by car and back again and had a very pleasant driver called Joseph who drove safely and got us to the station through the most scenic route possible right on time. To visit sites within Ooty city like the Botanical gardens, boat house etc. we had an auto driver called Uma Shankar who was also a safe and pleasant driver. Lastly, for sites around Ooty like the 7th mile, avalanche, Pykara etc. we had a driver called Vignesh, who maintained his calm even during traffic jams as it was the peak season.
