Just for a dinner, not the stay Just for a dinner, not the stay

by Meghna_Singhee on July 25, 2017

This looks like a gorgeous vintage property to stay at with charming old world lofty rooms, sinky armchairs and quaint decor. We were here for a dinner party organized with a bonfire. Lovely set up but dinner was average at best. And served very late.

Old world charm Old world charm

A really lovely colonial property not far from the hustle bustle of the main town but absolutely calm and serene. We had gone there as a family of 6 and had an amazing time. Felt like home away from home. Staff were pleasant and Food was great too! It is not one of those places where you can expect luxury, its one of the those places where you can expect an unique experience! Loved it!

Best place to unwind Best place to unwind

Superb place with all eminities. Every thing seems to be antique. Recommend to spend time far way from the concrete places . Not like the regular hotels . Things to improve is to extend the food menu .

"Serene place to stay, Calm environment"

by Nidhi S on April 7, 2017

I visited Lymond house few month back. This is really a good place to stay & relax. The place is in the mid of town so one can easily visit all the tourist spots very easily. Relaxing place to take a walk with your loved one in the beauty of nature. So all couples can undoubtedly book for the place without any doubts.

Jewel In The Crown Jewel In The Crown

by Charles K on March 7, 2017

In a two week tour of South India, staying at Lymond House was without doubt our favourite place. Our room was amazing and atmospheric comprising a massive suite furnished with quirky but very comfortable period furniture. Our bed was enormous and welcoming while the bathroom was equally huge. Lymond House itself is a charming colonial bungalow crammed with a vintage furniture and esoteric bric a brac. During the day we were able to take tea on the lawns in the beautiful gardens while after dinner we settled down in a front of a log fire as the evenings turned chilly. Bliss. The staff could not have been kinder nor more obliging. Nothing was too much trouble and the range and quality of the meals was impeccable. By ordering dinner a couple of hours in advance the staff were able to go out and specially purchase ingredients. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend Lymond House unhesitatingly.

Demo Trip "Rooms with views & garden areas"

Demo Trip Ask for a room in the annexe ajoining the main building.

by Charles K on March 7, 2017

Demo Trip Go for the old rooms inside the Bungalow (3 Rooms) for classic feel

by AbhishekA4 on December 27, 2016

Demo Trip Rooms in garden annexe probably quieter although not soundproof so rather depends on your neighbours

by LakesRes on November 19, 2016

Demo Trip Better go for another option. This is expensive and you will not find it worth the extra dime.
