Worst Hotel !! Worst Hotel !!

Nalapad residency is like an age old decaying hotel in which no one is even interested to renovate or make changes in the interiors. It is one of the worst hotels I have ever visited. The staff & service is terrible. It is a total waste of money.

Please note: I am unable to select Jan 2015 from the drop down menu for "when did you travel?". Hence, I have selected Feb 2015, but the actual dates of travel are mentioned this review. The exact date of stay in this God forsaken hotel was 25th Jan 2015. I would give this hotel 0 stars, but can't go below 1 star! Good Day People, This is a very late review, but for this hotel, better late than never. I had stayed in this hotel along with a friend in Jan 2015 (I think the dates for Ooty visit were 24/25/26/27 Jan 2015, out of which one night i.e. 25th night was at this crazy hotel. I am very sure about it cuz the next morning was Republic Day parade which was being telecast on TV) It was a trip organized by "Manish Bus". During the 3 days in Ooty, we stayed at 3 hotels (the tour operators had some sort of mutual understanding, I have no idea how that works. I just know that it was an "economy" package) I thought I had lost the photos from this trip, but surprisingly I found them and here I am, FINALLY, letting everyone know about the pathetic state of this hotel and the staff and everything about it. I have attached photos, they speaks for themselves. Please note that this was the LEAST pathetic room which was available that moment. Prior to agreeing to spend the night in this room (photos attached), we were shown 3 other room which were either full of flies, or smelled like rotten meat in the room, paint peeling off from all over the walls, wet/water stains on the carpet, extremely poor bathroom condition with seat missing (we had to wait almost 3 hrs(as far as I can remember) for a guy to come a put a seat on the toilet for this room. Not only that, they wanted us to get our own lock for the room. Guys, please, just don't go here. I can write pages about this place. Even if it has been more than a year since I was here, I have a fairly good recollection of this place cuz it was just so pathetic. Staff don't want to work, just sit and play the TV at reception at extremely loud volume.

Nalapad was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I booked this via Yathra . When I got to the room it turned out to be the worst place I ever been to . Fungus all over. Carpets torn up, Stained bed sheets and stinking mattress. Wash basin leaking onto the floor, rotten doors, no hot water , leaking commode . Obviously not cleaned. They are just a rip off. If I had landed there after dark, I would not have got any other alternatives. Stay away from the place. The staff is also lethargic and carry a badge of being the Worst Customer Service.

Nalapad was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I booked this via clear trip and got there by 1230pm. They made me wait for 30 minutes on the pretext of rooms being cleaned. Finally when I got to the room it was a pig sty. Fungus all over. Carpets torn up. Wash basin leaking onto the floor, mom working plugs, rotten doors. Obviously not cleaned. They are just a rip off. If I had landed there after dark, I would not have got any other alternatives. Stay away from the plave

We all family member were there at this terrible place through a private booking agent. Ugly,smelly rooms Paint of wall peeled of free mosquito company at night much greedy staff poorly maintained washroom teasing beds mainly unclean environment Never trust agents hundreds of no no for this place

Demo Trip this hotel should be your third or fourth choice and if at all if you want to stay here stay in rooms near the eastern side on first floor and do not eat in the restaurant because of the uncleanliness and second for sky prices.
