The stay was comfortable.The ambiance was good . The staff of the hotel was courteous and responsive. In room dining service was good. Hot water was a problem it was there at all time but lukewarm.Other wise it was a good experience.

I stayed with my family. The hotel service is very good & hotel is far away from airport. Hotel staff is very co operative & professional. They have maintained their 5 star hotel standard. Overall our stay was memorable.

The stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing, definitely not up to Taj standards and our expectations. Aesthetics - The exterior of this heritage property is in total disrepair..paint peeling falling off etc Rooms - these were just okay ..clean but musty wood smell Staff - courteous friendly and helpful within constraints of property Food - okay. pub not operational.lounge very basic Activities - very little to do during the day...and there is not much activity in Ooty so one looks forward to the acivities at hotel. The game room not clean and ill equipped basically only carrom or table tennis. There is billiards in separate room but on chargeable basis

I stayed here for 4 night with my family. I stayed in 208 Rose cottage Good's: 1. Very colonial, grand and peaceful 2. Excellent hospitality and Very nice staff 3. Very nice food in the dining room, the chef (Mr Panigrahi) took a round in the dining hall every time i was there and spoke with almost every guest present. he got us a banana pan cake which was great :) 4. Fire place in the cottages. Bad's: 1. The standard free wifi is not good. I was not able to connect to their wifi from my room. Probably the router covering my room was not configured properly. I had to go to the lobby/main reception a few times to get connected. 2. Expensive dining and bar. 3. Just one single malt in the BAR

The room was comfortable with a good bathroom and Good biew from the room The restaurant is rather quiet. We had a very good dinner in the restaurant over all excellent Stay @ Taj Savoy my rating is five star

I find it appalling that you have to pay 70 rupees per day for indifferent speed wifi this in a country that says it is the most connected in the world. Everything else about the hotel very colonial and great

Back in the Day I understand this was a 5 star property. The grounds are beautifully maintained but the interiors are in need of an upgrade. Also the phone system does not appear to work, I was awaiting a call from my parents for my mother's birthday. They tried calling 5 times to no avail whilst I was waiting in the room to be connected. Beautiful setting but not practical if one needs to be connected to the outside world. Otherwise staff courteous and good but expensive food served in the dining room.

We have been here for our anniversary and enjoyed 3 days stay. Special thanks Vibhakar and team. Lots of thanks to Sebastian and housekeeping team for making our stay memorable. Although proper informations are not passed from Taj central reservation they managed to cover everything.
