Nice Stay...would want to visit again..!!
It is an amazing place to visit, though very few people knows about this place until you book it through online but thats the exclusivity of this place. We were lucky that they suggested this property and we enjoyed it to the fullest.
Let me give you the reasons to visit/not visit this place: Why should you visit this place? o If you like calm & near to nature place. o If you like the fragrance of soil after rain. o If you like to a neat camping experience (where in you have nice, spacious rooms and toilets). o If you want to utilize every penny you have spent. o If you like to visit various points here and mahabaleshwer o If you like good service & polite service staff But, keep below in mind: o Transportation is a big problem here, people charge as high as Rs. 7000 for a days sight seen. o Road to this camp is TERRIBLE Or beyond HORRIBLE, the taxi we hired from the airport charged Rs. 1000 (extra over Rs 6000 that we agreed to pay) for his wheel alignment (which probably has gone out due to the road). On our return, we choose to go back by a roadways bus (which costed us only Rs 80) as compared to Rs. 7000 which we paid earlier. o Food is dead expensive at the camp, a water bottle with print rate of Rs 15 will cost you Rs 40 and half liter of Coke with print price of Rs 40 will cost you Rs. 80 o DO NOT EVEN THINK TO VISIT THIS PLACE POST DAWN, YOU PROBABLY WILL NOT BE AS LUCKY AS WE WERE WHILE FINDING THIS PLA. has not updated their contact number, but, thanks to google, we found one. But for you guyshere is the mobile number of the service manage their (hes a good guy) +919158533994 Suggestions: o Please use public transport than a private one (until you know Marathi) else youll be fooled big time. o Travel till Panchgani, then use Roadways bus have 4 time service in a day. o Carry food items like chips, noodles, juices & fruits etc you will be able to save a lot of amount. Overall: o Its a awesome place and I will visit this place again but will keep above in mind.
A great place to spend a quiet weekend. Loved the stay. Limited options for food and accessability to the resort is not that great. Otherwise a great experience. Tents were clean and well maintained.

If you are planning for weekend.. Definitely go for it. It is good for family and friend hangout but not good for business. If you want to be with nature, it is the place you must visit. Rooms are overly charged if you wish to pay over there but if you can book online you will get discounts.
It definitely lacks on number of staff. There were just 3 boys, running around trying to help everyone. They do their best to help all, always smiling and always helping. Overall, the services are neither good not bad, average. The place is worth only if you get the room for ~2.5 to 3K. And you want a quiet stay, away from city and you don't want to visit typical Mahabaleshwar tourist spots.
We had booked this room for one night. The access road to the site is pathetic. It's around 11kms from main Panchangani-Mahabaleshwar road. We reached there on Saturday afternoon, around 12.30. We had booked a "LUXURY" tent. There was nothing luxurious in the tent. But it was definitely not bad. The bathroom was clean. Hot water was available from morning 7.30 to 10.30. We ordered lunch, one veg biryani and paneer handi for lunch. It's not mind blowing but its good. The options are very limited in the menu. For dinner, we HAD to order chinese since they didn't have many options in punjabi. Preferably don't order chinese. Their cook can't make chinese. The breakfast buffet was strictly average, they gave breakfast because it was included in the room plan. The tea was pathetic and for a tea lover like me, this definitely doesn't score good. The tent doesn't have a fan. They provide you with a table fan with a stand. It suffices in Mahabaleshwar, since the weather is not very hot. The campus is good. There is a hill on the backside where you can go trekking. But that's it. There's nothing else to do. They had archery, which was interesting, and the normal stuff badminton table tennis and carrom. They had bicycles, which were broken. Considering this place is so far from the main Mahabaleshwar and Panchangani attractions, they should have lot many things to do in the campus. It definitely lacks on number of staff. There were just 2 boys, running around trying to help everyone. They do their best to help all, always smiling and always helping. Surprising was that there was no phone on the reception. We had to take the number of one of the staff and call him whenever we needed anything. Sometimes his phone was not reachable. Ours was the second last tent in the campus, and we had to walk a long way to find one of the boys. Overall, the services are neither good not bad, average. The place is worth only if you get the room for ~2.5 to 3K. And you want a quiet stay, away from city and you don't want to visit typical Mahabaleshwar tourist spots.
The Positives: NONE that the resort possesses other than the fact that it is in Panchgani, which has such beautiful landscape. The Negatives: - The 10km interior road leading up to the property is very frustrating and keeps you at a painful distance from everything good! You might still do it, to find light at the end of the rough ride - but alas! - There are LITERALLY 3 people who run the property - grossly under-staffed. So the service levels can be imagined. One look at the staff and you know what levels of cleanliness to expect elsewhere. - The location obviously requires you to have a car at your disposal but has done little to enable that. Hardly any parking space, no one to open the gates for you at a steep climb entrance and NO LIGHTS!! - The tents are at quite a distance from the main reception area, restaurant and main gate. It takes a steep climb on several uneven stairs to reach one from the other. Mind you, there's no room service which means you HAVE to do this distance, all the time! - The kitchen is one small sham of a room with such bad lighting, I wonder what all ingredients go into the food besides the food-grade ones. - The restaurant is more like a terrace partially covered with glass panes and jammed doors that can neither be closed or opened fully. Very badly maintained for cleanliness and repairs. Then comes the special addition of the stray cats and dogs wandering around your food and the tables.. yes you're reading it right - stray animals all over the "restaurant". - The food itself - I can hardly say - no salt, no quantity, no taste, no plates, no service - As for the tents themselves, it's a pathetic story. They've probably never ever been cleaned since they were put up. The structure is uneven, the zip doors and windows are stupidly designed for closing from the wrong side! In any case, they don't close completely, so don't sweat. Supremely unhygienic and filthy. If you've been to real luxury tents before, please forget that experience. 'cause these are nothing luxurious and not tents - they're best described as slummy huts. The "bathroom" part of the tent makes things even worse. The water keeps logging, hot water is by pure luck and the shower spouts water in every direction except on your body. so.. unless you're observing penance for something really bad you did, keep away from this "Luxury Camp"!!
Terra Camp : about 45 Mins of drive from Panchgani Market, ideal place for those who are looking to spend a day or two away from chaos of City, Mahab and those truck full of people. It has about 6-7 really nicely done tents and high point for me was super clean toilets ( don't worry attached loos ). So i was impressed by the cleanliness , the mattress, sheets and towel all were clean and fresh, for me it was awesome as i checked in on a wed and were the only guest that day to checkin , so entire campsite was to us. So initially till about sunset we lazed in the garden and once the sun was down, rum was down by thirsty throat. ( they do not serve alcohol so carry yours ) the food was good , would not rate it as out of the world, but really really good. one can also request them for a bonfire , though i found the rate they charge a bit too much Rs 500 per hour, and i must have done the same in many places but this was by far the costliest.. so solution "DID NOT OPT FOR IT " apart from expenses another reason not to take the bonfire was they do not place the fire in front of the tents for obvious reasons and we were just two, having said that if you are in a group then bonfire is something you must try here with those whiskey glasses and guitar strumming under billion stars ... at a secluded camp site ... sounds good .. so the place. Next morning i took my beast ( XUV 500) for some refreshments and did off roading in nearby village.. if you aren't used to driving in hinterland and off road, my advise will be to go for a farm visit or Strawberry plucking. I was told by Biswajeet ( really hardworking lad) that the owners have a private strawberry farm but since i went for a drive i skipped that exp.. i mean panchagani for a pune person is like extension of Kothrud with Gujaratis in majority :) .. so strawberry this time Sorry !! My Pick of the trip would be : Clean Toilet, Serene and quite environment and the Off road. in case you want to know , mail me on firstname.lastname@example.org
