Room was too small with old style furniture. Hotel has no restaurant they have a small kitchen to cook the food. Staff were very slow in their service they used to take 1 hour to serve anything in the room.

The first impression came to my mind when I visit that it was an old property but their hospitality was impressive. The staff was friendly and food was also superb in taste. The only problem was the room as it was very small for couples and not well facilitated is well.

Wonderful valley view. you can hear a Pin fall. And, birds singing. A different place where peace and quiet overwhelms you. And, you become a part of nature as you sit and contemplate the verdant and quiet surroundings. If you want to be at a place where you are away from it all, and bond your soul with the beauty that surrounds you, don't look any further.

Our own holiday home Our own holiday home

I am not sure when we discovered this place but ever since we came here for the first time, we have been here every year. It feels so much at home with warm service and personal interactions. I think it would be unfair to call this place a hotel and expect it to be like one. You can get lovely food, personalized attention and truly the feeling of home. I remember several monsoons and winters spending here either with a book in a cozy corner, being comfortable with BYOB on a quaint swing by the valley or playing badminton in the front yard (again right on the valley). While you stay in this large old colonial looking house, food is typically served right in front of your room on the veranda running across the length of the house. Nothing can make you feel more at home. All this more than makes up for what you would otherwise get in a "hotel" which is privacy, seclusion and clinically standardized service. If you are looking for a "fancy hotel/resort" experience, may be this is not the right place. The rooms vary in size, from small to large. They are maintained quite well by the housekeeping staff which again are just like members of a large family managing the property. Veerzad and his family truly run the show like a warm family welcoming everyone to their house.

Holiday home for senior citizens only. Overall a old age home maintained by lazy and least interested people Holiday home for senior citizens only. Overall a old age home maintained by lazy and least interested people

Quite disappointed with the maintenance of such a good reviewed hotel. Inside room you will feel terribly stuck in a hut, with noise making bed. Bed-sheet, pillow cover in real bad condition, very old and moist. Now come to breakfast its highly unacceptable that you are giving limited breakfast, which is not at all mentioned in any of your hotel details on makemytrip. Kind of giving breakfast is like you are favoring the guest. Guy called Parmar comes to your room side table and put your breakfast(limited, cold and very less in quantity) and do not bother to even ask you that do we need something else or so. No guy appears near by dining space to ask for a glass of water or tea also. Near by hotel it is not at maintained in the way any hotel or resorts are, it is just a silent place for senior citizens to sit and sleep. View was gud, but near by garden and plants are not maintained at all.

Foodies Paradise Foodies Paradise

by Burzeen B on November 1, 2016

Spent this year's Diwali at this hotel. I was allocated room no 9 which is a non valley facing room with a small balcony. The room is extremely small and not recommended if you have hyper active kids. The only saving grace is that this room had 2 entrances. The TV was not working but that wasn't a deal breaker since we hardly stayed in the room. The best thing about this place is its away from the hustle bustle of the main road. It's peaceful, quiet and super relaxing. If you are from the big cities you will love to listen to the beautiful chirping of birds in the morning. Oh! The food is to die for. If you are a non Parsi and want to enjoy authentic Parsi food look no further than this place. If you are a Parsi you will not miss home food at all. It's a foodies paradise. However all desserts were non chocolate which the kids didn't enjoy or rather didn't even try out. Everything else was super delicious. My verdict - Avoid room no. 9 but in every other way it's fantastic! Worth the money!

Demo Trip Go for the deluxe (if its available) or the standard if you are on a smaller budget, the difference being a private sit out, bigger TV.
