cheap and maintained hotel cheap and maintained hotel

by navneetkgr on July 8, 2016

we had stayed there in a triple bed ac room. They had charged about 900 and it was fantastic in this price. pros.. 1)ac was good and we need blanket in night 2)room was quite big with sofa and tv. 3)they had provided chilled water everytime on demand for free and they use aquaguard . 4)before entering they had well cleaned room and used room freshener and in my opinion you can not get this type of room in such a price in a area like Fraser road. cons... 1) hotel is in 7th floor and you has to use lift .In my case there was a power failure for a short span and I had to use stairs. This can be said a big disadvantage. 2)ac also won't run in case of power failure. 3)water supply was interpreted for about half an hour in morning. But overall I can say that for this price, it is satisfactory.

Though I had made bookings in advance there was no news of it with anyone. The room I was given didn't have any windows or ventilation. The room was dirty so was the bedsheet and blanket. The blanket was torn. The food I ordered was brought to me from a very cheap Dhaba. There were no towels or any toilet items given on their own, I had to ask. The staff was cordial. And hotel was not value for money though it was cheap.

Firstly, if you do not speak Hindi or the local language in Patna, you will have a very difficult time communicating with the "receptionist." When I got into my room, the bed sheets looked a little gross; fortunately, I carry a spare sheet with me for this very reason. There was a random unfolded newspaper sheet on the wall covering something; I did not want to know what was behind the newspaper. Cars were constantly honking and dogs were fighting outside. All in all, if you like to feel comfortable in the place you sleep, do not stay at this hotel.

A very unpleasant hotel. A very unpleasant hotel.

My husband and I booked the room so we could store baggage and have a rest while we were waiting for our connecting train. When we arrived the lift was not working so we dragged our bags up the 7 flights of stairs. When we got there the whole place had a terrible feel to it. Our room had a large bed but the sheet was dirty. There was no way I was going to lie down on it. Fortunately the toilet was clean so we went out to dinner came back and dragged our bags back down stairs and back to the railway station as we preferred to stay there. Overall it was an expensive toilet and temporary luggage store. If we had planned to stay the night there we would have gone somewhere else.

Terrible Experience Terrible Experience

I got this hotel details from trip advisor. It was a terrible experience to stay here. Entrance is so conjested. Lift is of 70th century. I booked this hotel for 4 nights. After entering in room, I was shocked. Too dirty room it was. I requested to change bed sheet. Then they shift me to another room. It was also dirty. Drinking water not received after several requests. I left that hotel within 8 hours. Even no bill received after check out. I shifted to a hotel named Hotel President. Same rate... But it is far better than that hotel. Prompt service.. Friendly staffs. Well maintained rooms. It is strongly recommended not to stay in Chawla Guest house. If you are looking for budget hotels then Hotel President is suitable and best place to stay. Regards, Subhasish
