The food was nice, the staff was warm, the rooms were well-designed with outdoor showers, the safaris were thoughtfully planned but what really is a winner for Mahua Vann is that there can be few places where you feel that you are living amidst nature. The original landscape has been retained in such a way that it gives you the joy of experiencing the forests in a very authentic way. The lovely trail that leads to the stream behind is a delight. The outdoor deck in our room that almost fell into the fields behind was the perfect spot for sitting, chatting and simply staring at nature. Coming from the frantic life of Delhi, we felt rejuvenated after a 3 might stay and were very happy despite not being able to sight any tiger!

We visited the property in December 2016, for the second time in the year. The booking was smooth as usual and we were updated with our pickup details from Nagpur, a day prior. The car was waiting at the designated time and a couple of hours later, we were at MahuaVann. Both Pawan (the Manager) and Ravindra (The GM) were at the gate to receive us. Check-in was smooth and the hot lemongrass welcome drink in the cold winter was just what we wanted. The food: This time around, the food was even better than the last time. They also had bonfires set up in the evenings where the guests mingled together and had their dinner. Breakfast comprising stuffed parathas, sandwiches, juices, eggs and tea accompanied us every morning for the safaris. The service: While we missed Moin at the restaurant, Lokesh and the team were always on their toes. We had a 18 month old toddler in our party and her needs were also taken care of excellently by the team there. In fact the team is the USP of this property, despite the property by itself exuding rustic charm mixed with modern amenities. The safaris: We had the awesome Satyavaan for our safaris and sure enough, he delivered what he promised. We saw the big cat in 3 of our 5 safaris, the most awesome being the chase and eventual spotting of the tigress Langdi at a distance of possibly 15 feet. Hope to come back again to the beautiful jungles of Pench and to Mahuavann.

We came to this resort without any expectations and were simply blown over with its location, design, hospitality, food and value for money. The resort had 20 odd huts spaced out in living jungle. The lodges have all modern amenities and all the privacy you need. The tariff is all inclusive and quality of food on offer is excellent. We stayed three nights and menu was always varied and different. The only downside of our trip was that we did not get to see a tiger on our two game drives but on both occasions we did manage to see leopards.

This being our 4 visit to Mahua Vann, bring about a lot of memories. Amazing hospitality, caring staff and a much needed experience of home away from home. Great facility and caring staff, it is one experience which one has to feel first hand. Right from reaching to the point you leave the resort, you will simply love the royal treatment. Every guest is made to feel special with focus around providing a holistic experience to the guests. Every time i have visited the kind of memories i take back are simply breath taking. This is certainly not the last visit and am looking forward to revisit the experience of staying at "Mahua Vann". Thank you all for making it so special.
