I had bad impression on travel guru due to the following (REF TGU0000765023) 1.hotel was booked Junior poppys suite and the amount paid is IRS 3193 WHAT I WAS ALLOTED AT THE HOTEL IS DOUBLE ROOM ONLY 2.FOR THIS LOWER GRADE ROOM THEY CHARGED RS.155.56 AS EXTRA BECAUSE TRAVEL GURU PAID LESS AMOUNT IRS 2718

The hotel was good.. It was a good stay there.. and middle of the town so even commmuting wasnt a problem to the main areas.. The food is slightly expensive and the there are no moderate restraunts around this Hotel that one can have a budgeted lunch. However the hotel had a thali option at 170 which was worth filling your stomach.. Overall it was a good stay at this hotel and would like to stay again here :). The complimentary breakfast provided was good :)

Very good hotel with good amenities. Had it been close to the sea would have been wonderful. I would like to go back and stay in the same hotel.

So much to improve! So much to improve!

The positives - -Location is fine, but it's not easy to find a decent non veg place to dine outside. -Smaller than comfortable TV, but with good channel selection. -It scores on looks - it's a fine building from outside, it's got a decent reception and foyer. -Staff seems fairly trained. What gets on your nerves - -The WiFi is a pain. An envelope with a PIN that has to be renewed everyday and can be used for ONE device only! primitive stuff! -You need an invite for breakfast. It comes with the newspaper everyday. The breakfast spread is unfortunately too limited. -Cleaning is an issue. A bottle cap on the floor on the first day never moved for 4 days. -Dearth of pillows (for anyone who needs a couple of extra pillows). -Food - Stick to traditional cuisine for room service and you'll do fine. Its a livable place, but with potential for so much improvement.

The interior of this hotel is lovely. The glass elevator superb! Rooms are good with all the facilities. Food is ok! There's a cute rooftop pool but the water is not very clean but not too dirty either. The location of this hotel is good and autos are available readily. Overall, a good hotel and not too expensive.

We had stayed here for couple of days good hospitality , very clean and spacious rooms here . Centrally located with easy access to market . 2 Resturants for in hotel . Surely visit next time . Veg food best option in town.

The impressive reception area ,and courteous staff made us feel a warm welcome. Our room was tastefully decorated and comfortable --with enclosed shower-area. The Dining room (one of three) was inviting and meals are tasty . We enjoyed having freshly -squeezed watermelon juice as part of buffet breakfast. The service overall was excellent but we specially would like to single -out the restaurant staff.- Thank you ,guys!. We made use of the gym and the Business Center and since the hotel is centrally located ,it made our overall stay in Pondi,a great experience.

Toilet broken, swimming pool water extremely dirty and a health hazard. Ordered room service, a Club Sandwich and what they served has never seen a Club Sandwich, looked like some kind of dog food from a can tossed on some bread.
