Location is quite good. Suitable for people who love to walk for couple of mins. Ashram, Museum, Rock Beach, Famous Temple are just within 5 mins walking distance. Staff are friendly but speak broken english. No parking for next two months due to renovation work at basement. I found bedbugs and small cockroaches. Staff were helpless. Cleaning staff remains only between 0900 to 1800hrs. Good Value for money. I would recommend with cleanliness as concern.

The rooms are clean and maintained very well; basic needs are met without much hassles. The hotel location was ideal as it was very close to few important places. Bus facility was good and no need to take the service of auto except when you have luggages. We had food in the hotel restaurant most of the times during our stay and we were happy with the food preparations and varieties available there. Overall it's a good hotel for family and for bachelors.

1. First of all at the time of booking I was given to understand that the cost was inclusive of breakfast. When I reached the Hotel I was informed that they never offered any such breakfast. After a rude arguement by the hotel staff, I was informed that if extra money was collected towards breakfast the same would be reimbursed by hotel staff Disastrous indeed. 2.My budgeting went haywire,because of this 2. Check in and check out details at check in not informed by hotel staff.(though mentioned as 24 hrs in the ad)I get a call at 7 am on 28-07-2014 asking me to check out at 7am. Pathetic, Again the staff was rude and threatning. 3.Though I made a request to seek some assistance in local travel no guidance was given.Though I left my number asking for some local travel help the front office staff did not bother to call me back 4.To top it all at the end of the stay when my old mother says thankyou to the front office, staff and Manager, he was rude enough to say that he was unhappy for reasons unexplained 4. Done a lot of travelling stayed in many hotels but Hotel Corbelli Pondicherry was a nightmare. The most uncultured, rudeand irritant Manager, Asst Manager and front office staff. This I say because when my little daughter was pulling the luggage, the security offered to help her but the guy who was in the reception abused him and told him not to help 5. Travel Guru must resist from recommending such Hotels. My first experience with Travel Guru was a nightmare because of the incourteous staff of Corbelli Hotel

Experienced a warm welcome at this hotel. The hospitality is great, it is close to a beach and bus stand. The rooms are small but clean and has centralized AC. The shopping centres are just a walking distance from the hotel. Would love to stay here once again.

Overall, this was not bad at all, except that the restaurant was non-functional. Staff was polite, friendly, & well groomed. The room was smaller than what I expected. My wife was unable to join me, and on checkin, I asked if I would get a discount for single occupancy of a double room, and was told that this is not possible.single occupancy of a double room, and was told that this is not possible.

We were a group of 20 stayed in this hotel on Feb 10th 2017. We were allocated to 7 rooms in different floors. The rooms were neat, bathrooms clean and there is central AC in all rooms (can be switched off if not needed). The hotel is located just 10 min walk away from Rock Beach. We have requested for dinner beside swimming pool but management did not agree to the request. Being a large group we wanted to have some fun time together, but since we were all in separate rooms and that too in different floors, did not enjoy much. Dinner beside swimming pool would have been a good facility, maybe this can be provided on additional cost in future. Overall a pleasant experience and will suit small groups or couples.

Short and simple, I was hungry. I try to eat at hotels as I know there are places to eat. Often times I get lucky but sometimes not. I ordered mushroom la sagna. It is the weirdest looking la sagna I have seen. The mushrooms did not look fresh and the cheese and cream was sweet as if there was condense milk on it. I left and prayed I would not get sick. The restaurant was on the 5th floor.

I booked this hotel which is supposed to be 3 stars. The photos on the website that are bright and colorful are wrong and misleading. The reality was different when I came. It was just impossible to stay because the room smells, the bathroom is small and rusty with a kind of shower and toilet inside. I wonder how they get 3 stars because it deserves none at all. I do not recommend this slum. They took a good deposit from me even if I left immediately

Hotel is half a kilometre away from Aurobindo Ashram. Rooms are quite clean and all other amenities are functional. Staff is friendly and helpful. Two Wheeler rental services are very near. It can surely be recommended if you are looking for a mid range hotel.

I used to keep staying here because of it's location and cost. But more than anything else, my group of friends and I are huge fans of the rooftop restaurant Don Giovanni. I have stayed here 3 times out of which the first two times were a pleasant experience (hence the rating) but the last time was horrendous. The hotel did not have towels and Mineral water bottles! Unheard of. Probably not going back. But was definitely good while it lasted! Beware: Parking is a MASSIVE pain
