Hotel Sumith Palace

The hotel is located within a walking distance to the beach, the Ashram and many other attractions. The rooms are spacious and they have different types of rooms for different numbers of people travelling together. They also have a restaurant. Breakfast is complimentary but you can order food the rest of the day. We are not particularly interested in Indian food because we cannot handle the spice, but we can still find what we can eat and they were good. Hotel staff are nice and helpful.

I think most of the people prefer this hotel because of it's location. The Hotel is fine, with all the required facilities and up to the mark cleanliness. The staff is normal; Not very welcoming, nor rude (at all.) It is just a 500m stroll away from the RockBeach, and you have restaurants, coffee shops, souvenir shops, ATMs, chai-ki-tapari & saloon along the way to the beach. I'd not recommend the roof-top bar. The food of the hotel is just normal. (buffet breakfast is not recommended either.) I'd rather, walk to the Le-cafe to have a great breakfast.

Very well located hotel. Just a stroll away from Rock Beach. Rooms very clean but not well equipped. Breakfast was repeatitive but tasted good. Good for leisure trips in and around Pondicherry and White Town.

Rooms are good, ambience of hotel is good .Rock beach is on walk able distance. Hotel restaurant is intact quality of food is also good. Nearby ATM facility & easily conveyance is available so one should stay here tariff wise also affordable.

Good food and beer with nice ambience. You can enjoy Happy Hours with one plus on beer. Nice food and the service staff is attentive with good smile. Its a Roof top Bar with AC which saves you from hot pondicherry whether.
