Total relax away from the busy Pondicherry - delux with a reasonable price

So I do not post many reviews to the Tripadvisor, but this place is just amazing - it was a great pleasure to spend here a couple of days. The new hotel administrator Prerna is the best care giver and host you can imagine. Also the Villa is shining clean, with an incredibly helpful and considerate stuff. It really has a quality of a home stay with the luxury of a hotel - you can do whatever you wish, and you will be assisted to make your choice happen. Whether it is renting a scooty, or using the build in jacuzzi in the swimming pool, or going to the sea, or eating local delicacies. Just go there, you won't regret it.
Perfect place to understand the region beyond the touristy Pondicherry, and have the most relaxing time you can imagine. Definitely will be back!!!
I like the place a lot. I am happy that the place is kept very neat & clean. Also the support from staff, food were great highlights. Garden, swimming pools are very neat. I like the antiques decoration across.
Thanking & Wishing Prerna & team for more miles.
A little oasis tucked away in one corner of Pondicherry.

Thankfully we visited in the off season and were privileged to have the whole place entirely to ourselves. We were fed well. We splashed around in the pool. We spent more time in the property than outside it. All in all a great experience. Prerna, the manager, is a well travelled, well spoken person and we are sure she will bring constant improvements to the place. It can become one of those places that you escape to to spend time with yourself, reflect, rejuvenate and go back to face the world with a renewed spirit.
Amazing place in Pondicherry

I went here for a 5 day solo trip. It was amazing. The villa itself is on 2 acres of veedant space, and the variety of trees and flowers is mindblowing. One could spend a week just looking at the plants, chilling by the swings and the hammocks placed strategically across the grounda.
The beach is a 4 minute walk away, and you can catch some spectacular mornings and moon beach scenes. The resort itself has a pool you can relax in (not a splash pond, a proper pool you can dive into!).
The food is really good, with a huge spread for breakfast including fruits, bread, eggs and Indian food.
The rooms are very nice and comfortable, with beautiful views of the gardens. Even the common areas are very tastefully done, with nice furniture.
You may want to ask the resort to arrange for a bike or car, as the main pondicherry town is a short drive away.
One of the best assets of the place is a proper library, very comfortable, with a great selection ot books in English and French.
Highly recommend!!!!!!!
Unwinding..great time at Lily pool villa

We had a 2 night stay at Lilly Pool Villa last month. It was a last minute trip and were looking for a relaxing vacation without any itinerary in mind. This heritage property built by an Indo-French has the old world charms with all the comfort of a home. They have spacious rooms with wide windows and open terrace. Since we travelled with our 2.5 year old son, he had ample space to walk around the property from the lawn, terrace to the verandas. They have a well maintained swimming pool which was definitely a highlight for us. Prerna who manages the property is a great host and a delightful lady. We were quite touched when her mom made us a delicious carrot halwa for breakfast. They hire local cooks so you will not miss the authentic local flavours in the food they serve. The best part was that Paradise beach was just 5 mins drive from the property was not crowded at all. We were lucky to have a stunning view of the full moon at the sea. If you are someone looking for a tranquil, relaxing holiday specially with kids, Lilly Pool Villa is the best bet.
