This hotel is a great property with average service. Not everyone can speak in English, that is a curse to Tamilnadu surrounding anyways. I think their winter package is the best one which is a plus. I say that service is average because it is not value for money they charge. They charge fivestar rates but the service is 3 star. examples, I had requested for room to be cleaned before going out on sightseeing, returned after 6 hours and see that the cleaning was not done, I had stay with my family to get the room cleaned. The delivery of food inside the room took everytime more than 45 minutes and with at least 2 followups everytime The food options doesn't have french quisine though it is in Pondicherry. The portions for what they charge is less They used to forget sending something or the other with the waiter and the poor guy had to walk 2 times to get the food There is no difference between suite room and studio room except the open shower for which they charge Rs.1500 extra, not at all worth it, I swapped the same for extra bed for my son (though that was not offered upfront until I had to discuss and convince the reception). Recetion guy was not so great in service and not so curtious. Some overall management focus on service would really boost the rating of this fantastic property. other thing, there is no extra activities though we stayed during Diwali, which makes thing very boring Swimming pool was not so clean

Lack of proper direction - on their website and by phone Flies in restaurant Security flimsy. They alloted someone else the same room as us, we realised this when we came back to the room after lunch and saw an access card punched in
