Food is average, hotel is average, staff is helpful, lack of basic amenities, very near to airport only 10 min distance. No internet , no good interior . If u r looking for basic services this is good

Nice Hotel, excellent location, near to Airport, Room Service was good , Staff was responsive, hotel rooms were clean and spacious with clean toilets. Hotel M.D was a wonderful person and helpful person with good contacts at even Havelock and Neil. Overall a value for money.

This hotel is more of a guest house owned by government organisation and not a private property. Rooms are spacious but what to do if the service is terrible. If you open the window, you will smell sewage odour.I had booked this hotel for three days but had no option to cancel my booking for remaining two days. They have untrained staff sitting in reception whom you can see sleeping in reception sofas. Even if you call or go to reception for any service, they will never call you back. In my example it was ice. My second example is of tea cups where I asked them in the evening to provide the new one for my early morning trip to Neil. They simply refused that it can be cleaned at that time nor they helped to provide two new cups. Third example is of dinner buffet. The time they provide is 8:45 PM which by no means is a standard time to provide dinner service. I request them at 6 PM to provide dinner early but they refused and were stuck with their timing. The worse thing above it is that I was offered dinner at 9:15 PM where both my kids slept. I called them more than 10 times but not a single time they called me back for the delay in service. My room no was 102 on 3rd Jan. When I escalated all these to my agent, he came to the hotel and asked for the assurance that such terrible mess will not happen again for my remaining days but no one gave any positive reply. Please do not get fooled by others on good reviews. This is not a hotel to stay.

Yes now it's time to write something about this hotel. I think during my tour this is best hotel I found in port blair. Not because of its Location very near to Airport but also because of Hotel Staff, Food, Service. When I visited this hotel first thing I like is person who attend us. Very soft spoken and he tell us you go to your room we will drop your luggage which our hotels didn't say in this whole trip. Food was super awesome and tasty with very good quantity and very reasonable price. Little bit delay during food but that is ignorable. Room was very clean. Good lighting in room. TV working properly. Good Air conditioning. Clean Bathrooms. WiFi available but that day it was not working. No pick and drop facility by hotel as it's very near to airport and the best part is they clearly said no pick and drop service before booking. Because there are some hotels who are committing wrong. Hotel like Ocean Pearl Beach Resort in Havelock is the most miscommittment hotel due to its manager Abhishek Dixit who is sitting in DELHI and doing fake commitments. I would rate this hotel 4 star and will recommend others to stay there. Very budgeted hotel.

The hotel is situated in market area with ATM at entrance. The staff is helpful and communicative. The rooms are clean and well equipped. Its value for money stay. Rooms have coffee machines and all required things for early morning or late night tea or coffee. And buffeyy breakfast is also good.
