Ok for a night Ok for a night

Very basic. No idea why it's Lonley planets best place. Clean enough. Friendly staff although a little sneaky. They messed up my booking and tried to keep me in a more expensive AC room despite having booked an 800 room. (They were talking amongst themselves not realising I understood Hindi). All was fine in the end. Don't have the breakfast, it's horrible. You wouldn't think toast was something you could get wrong, turns out it is...and the omelet and the coffee, complete with floating ants. It's fine for a night before getting on a ferry to one of the other islands.

This hotel has very nice location and at Rs 1600 per day for AC Room it was good value for money. The owner were very helpful and went out of way to help the tourists. Strongly recommended. this hotel is on a hill and it is surrounded by natural beauty. only thing is this hotel doesn't serve food but Aberdeen market is nearby. For breakfast and tea there are small eateries nearby which serve tasty idli and tea. Hotel owner was very nice as he allowed us to use landline phone as idea network doesn't work in portblair. Only BSNL, Vodafone work in Andaman. For food one can visit SARASWATHI restaurant, LAMBALINE.

Best budget hotel for sure Best budget hotel for sure

May be one of the best budget hotel in port Blair. Very near to jettys and marine dockyard, walkable distance from Aberdeen bazaar. Management is very friendly and helpful. As restaurant is not there you have to go to the market everytime for meals. Though they can provide you breakfast(bread butter jam omlete & tea) and other meals(roti, sabzi daal & rice) if you want. Price is also reasonable for these items.

Pleasant stay ! Pleasant stay !

I've just returned from Port Blair and my family and I stayed at Aashiaana Residency for three days. It's very easy to access, just 5 mins by car from Phoenix Bay. You can spot it easily on the road, too. I personally didn't do the booking for the trip, my uncle did. When I asked him why he chose Aashiaana, his prompt reply was that these guys were the only people who responded properly over the phone and that they sounded really genuine and professional. True to his assumption, when we reached, the receptionist and the staff were very warm and welcoming. They responded to our every query about Port Blair. I can't begin to emphasise how helpful these guys are during and emergency. :) The rooms were quite tidy, the bathrooms were well maintained, the place in general is run quite well. Yes, there is no free WiFi here, but that's quite understandable since all the phone or other signals in Port Blair are weak in general. That's one thing I'm willing to overlook and rate this place a full 5 stars. Due to cyclone Vardah we had some rescheduling in our trip and these guys were quite accommodating to that as well. You don't find many places willing to do that. Great job, Aashiaana ! A wonderful stay, would definitely recommend it if you plan to visit Port Blair :)

Demo Trip Checked a few rooms - all are spotlessly clean. As with anywhere else, higher priced rooms are bigger and the best ones also have balcony.
