GKM Grand is15mins from the Port Blair airport. The staff and the owner of the property are very friendly, humble people. It is a budget hotel, with decent rooms and facilities. (wifi is available).For food people like me have to find some other place (pure veg is not available, but can be prepared if informed in adv before vacation starts.). One advice for a traveler to Andaman is no mobile connectivity ONLY BSNL works (personal experience) Cheers! Thank you

We were in the hotel the first days of vacations in the andaman islands. The hotel service is very attentive and friendly. The rooms are excellently prepared with everything you need, you get coffee, tea to drink and some bathroom utensils such as shampoo, toothbrush, etc ... The bed is extra large and the room has air conditioning, TV and wifi. All very clean. The food of the restaurant is very good, the malai kofta is exquisite !!! We were happy to be a few days with such good amenities. We recommend it one hundred percent!

We spent three nights in port blair to visit the area, we stayed in the gkm grand and it was the best choice we could take !! A hotel with all the necessary amenities; tv, air conditioning, coffee and tea .... but most importantly ... super, super clean !! One of the cleanest hotels we've seen in India! Breakfast is included and is excellent; with European or Indian food to choose from. The location is good for the arrival and departure of the islands, as it is next to the airport. Without a doubt a very good choice, if we return we will repeat for sure!

Hi, I would recommend this hotel to everyone who is planning to travel with family here, it is close to the airport , the best thing about this hotel is the amenities that are usually served by a five star property and this hotel is serving the same amenities, the staff is excellent in terms of full filling all your day to day requirements , we are very satisfied with the services . Also when you are travelling from a north to south region and you get exactly your type of North Indian food then it is amazing specially the buffet spread is amazing . We are glad that we are staying here and it is like our second home now . Whenever we have to request for our special choice for the breakfast these guys are always accommodating to accept our request . Specially the owner of this hotel is very welcoming . The price is also very cheap and no matter what these people doesn't compromise on the quality . Because the food is really hygienic hence I would recommend everyone to try their food atleast once specially the Hyderabadi chicken and fried fish that they make is awesome with proper North Indian style. You must try their tea which is amazing again . I would like to mention here one more thing the guy from Resturant service Sudama always does the excellent job in fulfilling our daily requirements. Not only the service but he will take personal care of your choice of food and that's amazing . Such a humble person he is . In total I would rate this hotel the 5 star rating in terms of food, service and the Amenities. Cheers Monika

We stayed in this hotel for two days. The rooms are really big, neat and clean. Supportive staff. We tried 3-4 big known restaurants like ananda, annapurna & lighthouse but hotel food is best out of these options. If youre staying in this hotel, dont try outside food. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends.
