I have been to port Blair twice every year from 2010, every time at Hotel Abhishek. The property is located very conveniently near the airport & transport to all places in Port Blair is very easy. The hotel is a "no-frills" one & rooms are well appointed & recently they have had a facelift. The toilets have also undergone refurbishing, a welcome change. The room service is not top class but quite adequate. They have definitely improved over the years. Mr. Negi has always been to me as a helpful character. Recently he has gone back to his native, Himachal. The rooms 211, 111 has the view of the junglighat where you can go early in the morning to watch the largest fish market of the town. Also while at Port Blair, visit the restaurant Light House adjacent to The Aquarium on the marina bay to have fabulous crabs, snappers, giant lobster which will entice you to come back here, year after year. Before I sign off, a special mention about the Radhanagar beach of Havlock Island - you will be mesmerised, please have a swim, the serenity is unforgettable.

Hotel Abhishek is one of the best hotels of Port Blair.The rooms are neat and clean with well furnishing.The housekeeping is good.It has own Restaurant.The surroundings are fresh.Air conditioning is good.Hotel staffs are gentle.

my stay at this hotel was very pleasant, and comfortable. the staff is really helpful. you get sea view from hotel. market is steps away. the food quality was excellent at very reasonable price. the surrounding is calm and relaxing.

The hotel is situated in the heart of the city. The rooms are quite good and tariff is competitive. But when it comes to customer service, it has a long way to go. In a horrible incident, one of my guest was allowed to check in and later informed they may not be allowed to stay beyond a particular date. When asked why the guest was not alerted at check in, the lady receptionist had no answer. Even phone call to the owner was disconnected midway. It was really a nightmarish experience with the hotel, its receptionist and the owner himself.

I have stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with my family. It is very well located having good transportation facility to most of the tourist attraction at doorstep. Service and cleanliness is not good.

Demo Trip The below mentioned room Nos, (listed in order of rating are comparatively better. They will give you a good view of the "Bay" and the hills surrounding it. Please note this is non existent in other rooms. Room Nos. are 312,313, 211, and 212.
