Don't choose this place. The rooms are unhygenic, AC's are too old to function - the front window of few AC's was not dere, Dont dare to eat the food at the so called restaurant at the roof top (it was pathetic), the towels provided by the room service were dirty, the roof top of the bathroom had a hole, basically the place sucked .Also the AC's make a lot of noise since they belong to an old era

Stay: 27th Feb 2015 to 1st Mar 2015 Booking: Review: Value for Money: Booked two rooms for 6 people @ 4520/- plus extra bed additional @ 600/- so it's a steal Service Quality: With price this low, no need to add that the service was poor, at times there would be no person at the reception, the rooms we occupied (208 later changed to 213 & 211 later changed to 219) had issues ranging from water geyser not working to the washroom having a hole in the roof. Food & Drink: The hotel has a restaurant on the roof, but would recommend going out to eat Location: One of the plus points was location, located close to the shopping area as well as most local sight-seeing point (not considering the jetty as most sight-seeing destinations require cruise travel) Amenities: None whatsoever, no WIFI (a huge negative as few networks work in Port Blair - not even Vodafone 3G) Cleanliness: The rooms are located on 2nd floor with a common area where all the extra bedding's & mattresses are stored, that area has rats and the surrounding rooms have cockroaches.

Hotel blair is one of the best hotel in portblair... It is very near to jetty and services are serves good food.. It is budget hotel..deluxe rooms are good...We stayed two days here..

Stayed at Hotel Blair, very good hospitality, neat, clean & comfortable rooms, food quality & taste is homely and enjoyable. The staffs are very helpful & co-operative. Very good experience I have visited twice, April 2014 and Nov 2014 with family, would like to visit again.

We stayed in this hotel in 1st week of November 2013, November 1 and 2 then on 6th. Rooms are basic with AC and small 14" TV. In some of the rooms window curtains blocks the AC. Placed at the outskirts of Aberdeen bazaar. The rooftop restaurant is no-functional. If you ask for a morning tea.. that can't be given before 7 A.M. as once the shops open they will buy milk and then prepare tea. One should opt for this just as a transit hotel to catch flight. As the restaurant is placed on the rooms from 201 to 210 or 211, you will get proper water for bathing in the afternoon. But for other rooms on 2nd floor the water supply comes from tanks directly open to sunlight and you will get unbearable hot water for bathing in afternoon. Which has happened with us on 6-11-2013.
