No Ventilation for the bathroom-- which seems standard in Port Blair--has caused the bathroom smell even after renovation works done in most hotels.Bathroom window opens into the room towards the door(I have booked the high end Rs 3500 room). Since it rains for most part of the year mold and the accompanying toxic smell ans stink especially in the bathroom seems common in houses here, unless outer walls and slab are thoroughly water proofed,and interiors well ventilated. Apart from this the owner was a gentleman,sent our complementary taxi pick up,greeted us at the hotel,booked our ferry ticket to havelock,---which we desperately were in need of and worried when we landed,since we had our all paid for hotel booking for the next day---at no extra cost. Restaurant looked basic but has good and tasty food,which otherwise was difficult to find in andamans, so came back for it after our stay at Havelock. They have luggage storage facility which was a boon since we didn't have to carry all the luggage for a day's stay at Havelock. Overall we had more than happy stay at Hotel Rishab.Thank you to the owner and courteous staff.

To be a Travel professional I would never recommend this Hotel his Infrastructure,staff behave and food all are worst and no one is ready to short out your problem if any inconvenience.This is waste of money. Please dont Book this Hotel

I love the hospitality and service here. Room was nice according to price. As this is located at hilly area the view from the window is nice. It is very near to jetty, abeerdeen market and cellular jail. I love the breakfast here but the dinner was not that much good. Free WiFi is available here but you can access in lobby, In your room you'll not ger range.

this hotel is worst place to stay ,food quality is very bad, poor room service. if someone checks into this hotel room better check all lights,fans,a.c. washroom is clean but not worth 4000rs. location of this hotel is very near to jetty and near market place. the only good thing is waiters and room-boys are very friendly and good nature.

This place was an absolute let down. The rooms smelt musty and the pillow covers had holes in them. The bathrooms were just about clean and the room service was average. The complimentary breakfast was absolutely rubbish and did not serve anything more than bread [with rationed jam] and uthappams. The attached bar a predominently quite shady and restaurant was very very very basic. I would not recommend this to anyone unless you are a student on a shoe string budget.
