The hotel is well located although not adjacent to the main road so its a problem to find taxis and autos (the main type of transport in Port Blair). Its a good 5 minutes walk inside. The room was clean but the fittings like furniture and even of the toilet are outdated. The food served in the hotel is outrageously priced. Please eat out. The staff are polite and well-mannered but are not that up to date with tours and excursions in Port Blair and may not give honest advise. All in all it is a good hotel but at this price (I paid 3800 per night) not worth it. The moment I booked, one week later, they had a buy 3 nights and get one free. So I felt cheated. There are some other hotels which provide same amenities for a better price. It is located 10 minutes from the airport but then all hotels in Port Blair are equidistant from the airport. Its a small town. I would recommend this hotel only if the price was reduced or if you were going with family so you could take the family rooms.

It was a good experience with this hotel. Rooms have nice interiors and are neat and clean. It is located in the main city. Staff are co-operative. Food at the hotel restaurant was very tasty.

Deluxe Room was dirty not cleaned properly. Staffs were very slow in their service. I had my meal in the restaurant it was horrible in taste. Overall it was a bad experience with this hotel.

Hotel rooms are spacious but old. Although the food is good but there are very limited options in the menu and its very expensive.

It is a pretty reasonable hotel which has got the basics right. The good - Rooms, Beds, Pool area, food The bad - rudimentary WiFi (?maybe good), a weird moist smell from the AC, location The staff is courteous and friendly. Would I chose to stay here again... why not.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights before going to Havelock and on return, it was worth the money. The rooms were nice and spacious, bathroom was clean with all the basic amenities. The food at the a la carte restaurant was great, Chef Amartya prepared brilliant grilled lobster. Staff were very polite and friendly but could add a bit of more professionalism.

When you see the hotel you ask yourself Is this what I paid so highly for? But then the rates are pretty high in port blair (And 28% GST). The rooms are just ok. The property is not on a very good location. The WIFI works only in lobby and poolsde. The saving grace is Zest restaurant . It nice place and food is good. Manpreet Kaur Sandu is a great hostess. The poolside Bar is another good place but lot of mosquitoes. The barman Lalit was very friendly. The restaurants and Bar shut by 10 and 10:30. The staff at hotel are not sure about were o visit and what is required. he were checking on internet for the same. The checkout s very early at 0900. My flight was at 1530 so I had to argue upto GM level to extend my stay till 1300 although the hotel was half empty.

I was in Port Blair for business and stayed at the Sentinel for three nights. I was given a standard room I believe, and it was value for money. The food was great. The two days and three nights that I stayed at the Sentinal I had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the restaurant at the hotel. I was satisfied with the food. I suggest the continental items on the menu. The staff were friendly, overall good but could be a bit better; perhaps a lack of training. All in all I highly recommend to stay here if you are ever in Port Blair.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days but faced multiple problems during that time. The hotel was "ok" and so were the rooms for this range. The water in the bathrooms was yellow for most of our stay. Couple of our rooms had leaky washroom flush and clogged drainage. There's no wifi in rooms or anywhere apart from lobby(sloppy connection) which was surprising. Basic channels came in on TV. There's no scenic view from the hotel apart from their own beutification. Although will give them credit where there's due, The hotel staff was polite and the buffet was quite good. Hence the average stay.
