The hotel is well located although not adjacent to the main road so its a problem to find taxis and autos (the main type of transport in Port Blair). Its a good 5 minutes walk inside. The room was clean but the fittings like furniture and even of the toilet are outdated. The food served in the hotel is outrageously priced. Please eat out. The staff are polite and well-mannered but are not that up to date with tours and excursions in Port Blair and may not give honest advise. All in all it is a good hotel but at this price (I paid 3800 per night) not worth it. The moment I booked, one week later, they had a buy 3 nights and get one free. So I felt cheated. There are some other hotels which provide same amenities for a better price. It is located 10 minutes from the airport but then all hotels in Port Blair are equidistant from the airport. Its a small town. I would recommend this hotel only if the price was reduced or if you were going with family so you could take the family rooms.

It was a good experience with this hotel. Rooms have nice interiors and are neat and clean. It is located in the main city. Staff are co-operative. Food at the hotel restaurant was very tasty.

Deluxe Room was dirty not cleaned properly. Staffs were very slow in their service. I had my meal in the restaurant it was horrible in taste. Overall it was a bad experience with this hotel.

Hotel rooms are spacious but old. Although the food is good but there are very limited options in the menu and its very expensive.

My title speaks for itself. The location of the hotel is very very poor as compared to the others in the city. Food was decent. Staff and Management were brilliant. They infact changed our rooms when we complained about a few things. The bar is very good and by the pool. The hotel room has a weird aura to it. It's, I must say very MOTELish. I would advise people to stay at a different place like the SeaShells etc.

Stayed at sentinel for four days. The hotel is centrally located near Kendriya Vidyalaya Number 1. A three storey building amongst concrete jungle, the hotel has a kiddie pool which is at times mistaken in photographs for a big swimming pool. Facade and front office- excellent layout. Helpful staff. Sometimes slow in comprehension or busy giggling amongst themselves. Internet- available in the lobby. Not in rooms. That's a major issue in all Andaman hotels I guess. Speed is pathetic. Restaurant-two of them in first and second floor. First floor is for a la carte and second for buffet. Breakfast and dinner are generally buffet with breakfast being heavily idli-uthappam-paratha combo without any variety. Taste and standard of food is ok, nothing outstanding. A la carte dishes when ordered are excellent and the promptness of Avinash, the steward was impressive. Room- not very spacious. Lock is metallic key system- no worry of being locked out and more probability of leaving it unlocked too. Standard of tv, bathroom cleanliness, toiletries can be improved. There is a separate mechanism for the geyser which if not understood well can result in cold water baths half way through. Well, GOOD points are that the hotel is centrally located in terms of distance from major landmarks like marina park, Sagarika etc. No pool or gym available. Minuses - laundry arrangements are very badly coordinated. Cleanliness of bathrooms-at times stinking. Attitude of staff at buffet restaurant. No beach or sea nearby.

This is a good hotel which is centrally located. The ambiance around the hotel is attractive. Staff of the hotel is prompt, very polite n efficient. Sea food is delicious here. Room is very clean. loved the hotel and would like love to stay again.

Stayed here one night before our flight back to the mainland-- room was quite spacious and the bathroom was huge and beautiful but had no towel rods or hooks anywhere. Room Service was quick but they were out of a lot of food on the menu when we were there.

Definitely over priced !! Definitely over priced !!

The rooms are definitely well maintained and upto the mark ( although we had to call house keeping to scrub the bathroom once again !) BUT come on when one visits such places the first thing one looks forward is the VIEW from your room. THERE is no view and since the address said Phoenix Bay, I assumed its facing the BAY ...NO WAY. So, its a concrete building in the center of the city !! Must say its conveniently located but then the city is so small it hardly matters.The rates of the rooms and the mandatory New Years dinner was hiked for which we had no choice. The food on the NY night was good but the breakfast definitely lacked choice. The staff mostly were untrained and definitely need to show some more enthusiasm in their jobs.
