Hotel is great and excellent for any length of stay. Superb clean utmost hygienic with best of location and compares with best hotel in any other city of the main land. I was fully satisfied with my stay the cost was not only reasonable but appear less for the quality and standard offered. To get best room at just Rs 4000/ day was like a dream. Dining options are not up-to the mark, though there is good restaurant. There is neither any minibar/ snackbar nor any coffee maker in the room, which was disappointing . Do not forget to carry extension cord for your laptop or charging the mobile and multiple adopter as there was only one electric outlet of old type in which pins of charger/ laptop could not be pluggedin without adopter.This is the area where management need to improve but good location and if you carry your own coffee maker / extension cord it will compensate. Checkout timings are strange at 7 AM which when viewed with free breakfast offers which are confined to 7.30 AM to 9 AM only means if you reach Portblair by air/ship you canot reach hotel before 9 AM and if you have to catch a flight to Chennai/ Kolkata the next day you must checkout by 6.30 AM. There is no way that you can get the complimentary breakfast. Unless it is the intension of the management to cut corners there is a need for the management to resolve this issue. But if you carry your own eatables/ coffee maker or in the alternative there is a restaurant nearly which offers relief There is further caution that hotel list the facility for free pickup and drop but it was not in existence. Hotel management laid the responsibility on TRAVEL GURU stating that free pickup and drop is available if you book directly with hotel and refuses to provide any facility which is listed on their website stating that we sell these facility with room but what travel guru has sold you for that you must contact travel guru only. This goof up was most disappointing. However local taxis are available @ Rs 200/ hr basis and regular auto and taxis available in plenty provided with alternative. But you must be mentally prepared for such event. Travel guru must explain their conduct With these precautions I would like to stay in the hotel again and again and again thereafter only for the room which was superb.

We're told , it is a three star hotel. But, which 3 star hotel refuses to provide a hand towel and toilet paper but charges Rs 440 for a simple vegetarian dinner buffet? Rooms are just ok. No drinking water was provided.

Rooms were conjusted Cleanliness & ambience below average Wifi only in lobby that too bad Atleast they have good hot water supply Din't like the food either This is a very old hotel I guess it has that old worn out look

A normal budget hotel to stay in port blair with clean rooms and required services. we stayed there for three nights with eight rooms occupied . staff is ok food is also nice location is also near to jetty.

Good location hotel in city , stayed for three night with rush of Diwali vacation but good manage by staff, raustarent , food good. new expansion is not having lift. so rooms are fine but communication to reception & room service is not available for us in oct.16.

A group of 3 couples stayed here booked through a local agent M/s Emerald Tours & travels, who was equally terrible. The hotel is dingy, no electric kettle for Tea in the rooms, no hangers in the wardrobe, sanitary fixtures were difficult to operate. Even water was not filled in the water jug. They claimed there was Wi-Fi Interent, but it was available only in the Hotel lobby and most of the time it was down. Room service was pathetic. Ala Carte food was alright, but buffet food was horrible. Food prices are also exorbitant! Better to avoid staying here. The bar was too noisy filled with regular outside customers. During our stay without any information, the staff cleaned the over head tank. As a result filthy water was provided in the bathroom.

Demo Trip Don't take rooms right above the Kitchen because of the horrible noise and vibration from the kitchen exhaust.
