We stayed at Sea Princess Beach Resort on the first day of our trip. The resort is located in the outskirts of Port Blair because of which it took us almost 1 hour to reach the resort from the Airport. On reaching (around 3:00 pm), we were advised by the driver to rest for the day as it will take us time to return to the city if we were to visit tourist locations since the day was almost over and we wouldn't get much time to visit places. Nevertheless, the room was very comfortable and to our requirement, the hotel staff's were friendly and present and the masala crab was delicious. The swimming pool was a good dip but the hotel staffs advised us not to go to the beach due to crocodiles and one incident that happened last year leading to a death of a person who was eaten by crocodiles. It terrified us. Not a very good start to the vacation. The receptionist told us that breakfast will be packed for us since we were travelling early morning the next day but while checking-out of the hotel, the second receptionist informed us that they did not packed breakfasts for us (as promised) and will take time to prepare it. Therefore, we had to leave without breakfast. Overall, the stay was pleasant but given a second choice, i would not return back to this hotel. I will rather book a hotel in the city.
I had a great time in this resort. Check in was very smooth. Rooms were very spacious and food was delicious. The beach in front was very clean with clear blue waters. The location is hardly 25 min from the airport. The staff was very helpful and always ready to help. Thanks to the team Sea Princess.
This location is in the south of Portblair. You can enjoy lovely sunset.. Staff is very polite. Manager of the restaurant is very humble gentleman... Food at the restaurant is good & variety is available. Beware of Crocodiles while walk around beach.
This is not the resort, this is a simple hotel, no garden, no swimming pool, they don't know what is the definition of resort. Rooms are very small. Very unprofessional and rude staff. Restaurant is good but very costly. They are selling plastic at the rate of Gold. Management is very poor.
Over all wastage of money.
The last day of our Andaman trip was spent at this hotel. Far from the buzz of Port Blair crowd, I wanted to spend a peaceful day with family. It was as expected right from the beginning until check-out. As soon as we reached the hotel, the staff was courteous to show us our beach facing room. The room was big enough for a family of 3-4, neat and clean. Though I had opted for all meals plan, there was no buffet in afternoon due to low number of patrons opting for afternoon buffet. But the staff provided us a variety of options to choose from a la carte and it was more than sufficient. The property is hugh, well maintained and bang on Wandoor beach - one of the most beautiful beaches in Andaman. Sunset was glorious to watch. Sad part is cannot get into water. Dinner buffet and morning breakfast was a pleasure. Food was tasty and we enjoyed. Wish I could have stayed more than a night, but sure to visit again. The view from balcony above sea facing restaurant is fantastic and feels spending an unlimited time. Thanks to the hotel and restaurant staff for making our stay a memorable one.
