Room: Good. Decor looked oldish but functional. There were visible spots and flaws in the paint, the plaster had come off at a couple of spots. But, the view from the room was absolutely awesome. Dining Options: Food was very good, the dinner buffet was excellent with enough choice. Only issue was on both days we could not get a table outside in the open part of the restaurant, apparently all tables were reserved well in advance. Location, accessibility and other: Location close to the bay is clearly the selling point of this hotel, and rightfully so. Accessibility however could be an issue, We didnt have any problems since we had hired a car, but I didnt see any shops or rickshaw stands nearby. There is no WiFi in the rooms, only in the lobby!! Add to that the fact that cell coverage is patchy and data connections dont work! This is something the management should work on. Overall: would certainly recommend for the Location and the restaurant. They need to work on modernizing their rooms with newer decor and provide WiFi.

For a pleasant vacation ! it was nightmarish, and it�s a daylight robbery ! We paid 17000 trough Travel for three dreadful nights. We were misguided by all reviews seen in the web except one which was true ! I note that people are becoming rich and they don�t have any taste of life, cleanness etc.. because we are living a time where intellectual life seems to be drunken of its mechanism up too often mislead and confused of doctrine. Sinclair Port Blair, had good remarks and reviews on the web for their food, beware of you guys, your tongue is deaden, numb and anesthetized, disgusting food for exorbitant prices. From the Web, the Hotel Sinclair is claiming to be one, but I rank this horrible hotel in the category of cow shed number one, even worse, if there can be worst scale of the awful that we can imagine. Three nights of terrible sleep with a mattress exceeding the bed, thereby you do not sleep straight, photos uploaded in Trip Advisor by me will prove what we talking about, their linen is very old or taken directly from the dustbin of the town, their dirty dishes, their furniture broken, dirty and sticky tiles ! Basically, they rob you with images that you dream while the truth is otherwise. Think before you get there. I am amazed to see the number of people, who are happy with their visit to Sinclair Port Blair, should be the new rich with no taste and did not understand anything to lifestyle. Sorry to say it, as long as there are morons, there are fuckers! Think twice before to decide !

I must say I expected more for the price I paid for a hotel in Port Blair. Service was excellent at the hotel. Food was very good - they had a selection of Indian, Continental and Chinese - but room service was slow. The rooms are very spacious, but the fittings are old. There was a nice view of the bay from my room, but I had to look past a filthy window ledge and unkempt lawn when I wanted to catch a glimpse of the sea. No hot water in my room, which was not pleasant. Overall I would rate my experience at the hotel as average, but feel that since the staff seem sincere and well-trained, they can make this a very enjoyable experience with a little attention to detail!

It was an outstanding experience. The room was very royal and clean. The staff was prompt and up to date with the service. The food was mouth melting. I really enjoyed the sea food and Thai cuisine. The location was also convenient. It was really a comfortable stay.

The standard room was decent with all the necessities. Staff were co-operative and helpful. Breakfast was delightful in taste. The location was really good near the hotel.
