Could have been so much more

Pros: large property, peaceful, quiet, beautiful sea views, comfortably sized rooms, comfortable beds.
Cons: its an hour out from the main city. There's nothing else around it, whether stores or restaurants, or auto stands. That's still somewhat manageable if you have a taxi or some means of transport for the day. But even if you're looking for a quiet getaway, it's not got enough facilities for a relaxing stay, either. The restaurant has good fare, but its a little shack of sorts with three tables squeezed in - barely even a restaurant. The place backs onto the sea, but its rocky and not the beach.
The biggest drawback is the management, which does an awful job. Check in is supposedly at 11, but our rooms were not cleaned and available until 1.30. The loo was stained. They gave only a single one-person sized blanket and no sheets, for two people. The manager was weirdly insistent on us paying all dues at 10.30 in the night unlike any other place where you settle the final bill at check out. This, when we were leaving the next morning at 8 am anyway!
We'd arranged a taxi on our own to the airport, which got into an accident and couldn't pick us up. The owner managed to squeeze us in with another family going into the city. He charged us double the normal fare for this, which is perfectly acceptable given the situation. But to be told that he was losing money on this transaction - I really don't see how this was possible as he'd overcharged - and how we'd made a mistake by not arranging taxis with him, how grateful we need to be to him, was irritating, annoying, and angering to say the least.
If you have few or no options, then go for this place. Else, please skip it.

I recently stayed here with my family . Although, location of he resort is at a isolated place around 20 KM from city but having excellent location for the persons who wish to spent a time in calm n cool environment full of natural views , clean air having high level of oxygen, sea views from cottages. Breath here for few minutes U feel fresh. It is a fact that due to isolated location, some basic problems may arise but the Resort Manager Mr. Chandan always try to resolve all issues. The Boy at restaurant Mr Ricky always take care for all requirements for breakfast n dinner . If any body is in search of luxurious place only than avoid this resort otherwise it is a GEM. I will love to stay here again n again with my friends n families. Thanks to Mr.Chandan and Mr. Ricky.
Perfect for taking some time off from the world.

I travel a lot with my friends and all of us do it to take a break from, college, work and so on. We stayed at this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights and were completely enchanted by the absolute natural beauty we found around. This hotel is the perfect place for you if you want to spend a few quite days, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
I'd been to Port Blair before, the difference was that this time I felt like I had all the time in the world to just sit back and relax and to that end, the hotel helped me a lot by being more or less isolated from the world and yet maintaining a level of sophistication that reassured me that I would find every available amenity I could possibly need.
The staff members were more or less impeccable when it came to their manners and their service. They helped us a lot. Every order was always delivered on time and everyone of our requests(some of which were pretty unfair) were entertained.
The hotel offered me a VERY relaxing stay and it has carved a special place in my heart. I'll keep revisiting this hotel every time I'm in Port Blair.
An experience worth sharing but words are not enough to explain the beauty of the resort and its location .
staffs are well trained who very well know how to please anyone with their excellent service skills .
resorts's excellent location and classic ambiance away from the city within the nature makes it an extremely memorable stay.
the resort itself is a place where you can enjoy the tour .
really loved it
thank you so much team oceanus .

In my previous 7 stays in Port Blair i was never so much love with a property, this place is amazing filled with cold breeze, majestic view of the sea, coconut trees, lovely staffs, serene and most importantly comfortable. Away from main city you stay close to nature. The view from room, sound of sea and cottage type room is more than what you expect from a hotel in Port Blair.
