NOT STSYED............we were surprised to be taken to a different hotel on our first day instead of TSG, but we were requested to stay there due to some maintenance problem at TSG. The rooms were maintained well, decent food was available in the restaurant attached . The tour package was arranged well, but we were not given any itinerary. Service level of the staff was good.

This is a nice budget hotel. The rooms are clean and the service is also OK. The in-house restaurant "Ruchi" is excellent and provides mouth watering delicacies. The staff is also very friendly and co-operative. The only problem was the traveldesk. They are irresponsible and never delivers what they promise.It resulted in me missing the boat to Havelock, resulting in the loss of an entire day for me. What made me angry was that the person responsible for getting the tickets just did not go to the advance reservation counter to get them. And he had a lacklustre attitide to the guests.

* Hotel is really nice. I had Superior Room booked there, which includes complementary break-fast. * Each room has TV, electric cattle, a small freeze, beautiful interior, beautiful wash-room with jaguar sanitary. * Restaurant has nice food, but a little slow service. They really serve nice complementary break fast, buffet system, 3-4 items daily. * Hotel is away from sea. If u don't have any problem with this, then best place to stay.

Don't get fooled by the photos of the view around. None of the rooms offer it. Bathroom design is poor and so is illumination in the room.

We visited Andaman during may 2016, it was a honeymoon trip for us. We went through Peace Andaman Tours & Travels In Port Blair we booked this property. The most pleasant thing was the behavior of the staff also the room service was fantastic.

Good place to stay as its very close to the main town, food was good but very poor service as we had to wait 30 minutes to get our luggage from the room after check out. WIFI doesn't work as entire Andmaan has bad network. bed linens were not fresh...... over all OK...

This review is specific to the restaurant. Having heard so much about the food served here, we decided to drop in even though we were staying at another hotel. To start off the continental items listed on the menu were not available along with some other items and they were not willing to tone down the spice level for the child, for items which were available.It took quite a few iterations and 25 minutes to finalise 5 items from the menu - soup, paneer tikka, chicken lollipop, tiger prawn and malai kofta. After waiting for 25 minutes the first items arrived. Soups were tasteless, paneer tikka had uncooked masala, prawns were unclean and the malai kofta tasted as sweet as gulab jamun. On complaining, the staff were clueless as to what happened and did not even offer to re-prepare the meal. Finally we got fed up, paid up and walked out. Only saving grace, we were not charged for the prawn and malai kofta, yet ended up paying Rs 1600. Also it took the staff 30 minutes to figure out how to generate the bill with certain excluded items. I don't think I have every had a worse meal than this and would never recommend a visit to this place.

If you are looking for a no frills but clean and friendly place to stay, TSG emerald will fit the bill. Good food (breakfast and coffee could be better though). Neat rooms and good service. Downside: Weak wifi signals and no swimming pool (I guess most hotels in Port Blair dont provide this)

Stayed here for two nights on new year eve. They upgraded my room to a suite. The suite was spacious and had all amenities. Food is great. Staff is very humble and courteous. They had a very nice new year party. They also gave us new year gift when we were checking out.
