The stay was very good. Pratiksha was a great support went out of the way to help. Rooms are good. Food was great too. Quality and interior is good. Staff is excellent. Thank you team Holiday inn. Service was oustanding and will always like to come back to stay at Holiday inn Pune Hinjewadi.

I have been there twice. The first time through a membership of a club, to use the swimming pool, and I must say the experience was quite unpleasant. The pool although clean was without any attendant. There was some kind of stench coming especially at the end of the pool, the kind you get with recycled water used for gardening. We had to search for rest rooms for changing into swimming costumes. The second time I went with my family, and it was a good experience. The ambience and food was good, and my son liked the pastries and my wife liked the non-veg stuff (I am a vegetarian). Vegetarian food was also good.

Holiday Inn is symbolic of International Standard hospitality. This trip was no exception, barring day 1. Day 1: Had a late night flight & checked-in around 10:50 PM. Being familiar with Holiday Inn, was aware that room dining options gets limited past 11:00 PM. So as soon as I checked-in to my room on 3rd floor, wanted to call room-service to place order for dinner. Surprisingly none of the phones in the room were working. Additionally - one of the ceiling light wasn't functional. So called up reception from my mobile & in about 5-10 minutes technician came to the rescue. He eventually had to replace all phones to get things working & I was in no mode to spend more time to replace/fix the light. Technician could understand my tiredness & frustration & he was kind enough to inform room service - who sent someone over to my room, to get the order. It was roughly around 11:15-20 by then & had to settle for a burger. :( The misery didn't end here - as I found the mini-bar as non-functional. When I informed reception (that night itself), they were prompt to replace the entire mini bar within 5 minutes. I also found "pan masala" type packet lying on the ground next to the bed (memory from last visitor perhaps). Next day morning - got up to another surprise. The electric kettle in the room was apparently not working (as I couldn't see any LED indication after switching it on). Again called up reception & requested for - (1) Replacement of the Kettle & of course (2) Changing the room Bot the requests were addressed promptly (& it was found the kettle was working, but the LED was not - so I had no way to know if at all it was functional, unless I had kept it running for sometime) & at night as I entered the new room (on 3rd floor itself) - I could then feel the true Holiday Inn experience. I also got a greetings card & a cake on the table - apologizing for the inconvenience from the room service team. Nice gesture & was appreciated indeed. I assume the first day mishap was an exception - as it was first time I faced such horrific experience with Holiday Inn. Otherwise: - Rooms are generally great - Service is generally prompt (room service for dining/food will typically take around 15-30 minutes) - Rooms away from the highway (or the Hotel entrance) do provide a nice view. But in the past I always found the big glass windows dirty for a nice photo click. But this time - though I didn't get such a room with view, but I noticed some information about cleaning work being carried on the glass windows. If true - great move! Much required! - Room service food quality is really good! And does offer nice variations. Drawbacks: - Can't emphasize enough, the check-out process is quite sluggish! It's not that people are not efficient, I am sure they are. But in the morning rush hours - just one or two individuals running the desk - doesn't simply work. - As I have mentioned in the past as well, the breakfast show is definitely not a crowd puller. It needs variation & more importantly "options" to be of international standard. During this stay - I faced a problem twice over, where I ordered "masala omelette" from the counter - but no one was really tracking the request. Some tables got it delivered even though I had ordered it ahead. And, I didn't have the wit to either follow-up on the request or continue waiting. So had to leave the breakfast! - And one last point, it seems if you are white - you get immediate attention (it's a typical Indian attitude though - to be more hospitable to foreigners). :) Any white person walking - gets quick question on tea/coffee. Unfortunately, brown/dark skins need to wait or be proactive to place the request by him/herself. So overall - it was a mixed experience. I was hardly at room - as was on business & mostly was spending only the night at hotel. Still I wish there was a better DTH service provider (unless the room connectivity was poor itself) - as watching the news on TV was more like playing a radio - as picture was extremely noisy (not worth watching e.g. English News Channels or Discovery types).

Overall I rate Holiday Inn Pune is excellent with all required facilities. Stay is very comfortable and away from noise pollution. Guest services and room services are prompt and service is worth appreciation.

The service was simply too good & the staff was very helpful. The friendly staff made me feel at home. I will be happy to use Holiday Inn, Hinjewadi services during my future visits to Pune. Thank you.
