Shantai Hotel

We just stayed overnight, but the rooms were clean and comfortable (a little small in size). The on-site restaurant and cafe had a good menu and served delicious food. More than adequate for the price, but probably 3 star by way of hotels.

My father recently stayed at this not so wonderful property and I call it that because it's pretty frightening, at the very least. Imagine you're staying in another country, altogether; and one of your lovely parents tend to get injured because of the irresponsibility of a hotel's low maintenance staff. Ironically, the prices of that property seem to be like a high maintenance motel. I'm sharing a picture of the terrible and a petrifying experience that I recently went through because I live in another country and one of my parents got injured because of their irresponsibility. I'd love it if you have a look at it and give me your opinion on it. A picture of their bed, from which a steel rod comes and injures my father on his business trip.

Dined here a couple of times at the Cinnamon restaurant with family and friends. The food and ambience is high quality. The restaurant is stylish with a good seating capacity. There is a good range of dishes to choose from. However, the service on weekends is really slow and u need to cater for waiting time. The starters were really appetising and full marks for the dishes. The hotel is rated pretty high also in booking & makemytrip.com.

Clean, spacious rooms, nice breakfast, good roomservice. Some critical notes though: we booked for four nights and our keycard and wifi code were set for only one night. A bit annoying and no excuse whatsoever, what irritated us even more... Another thing was a lot of children stayed in the hotel and they were really noisy in the echoing corridors till late in the evening.

Large spacious, neat rooms. Courteous staff. Tidy bathroom and bed and bath linen. I stayed over for 3 days for exam and the surrounding was quiet and it helped. Food from adjoining restaurant was delicious and worth the money. Would drop by again for something else sometime again definitely.
