We asked for three-bedded 3 rooms, but we were provided 3 two-bedded rooms. So we were forced to accommodated with it because there were no three-bedded room as stated by them.

please remove this hotel from your listing. Staff: i will give actual statements of theirs "sir you have not booked for 3 adults we would charge you extra for 3rd bed" after discussion he speaks in front of me with Natsha and says "itne cum me booking dete hai kya" sarcastically "do we give booking at such low price".. they took 3 hrs to clean the room and give us clean bed sheet which had marks on it and were dirty. 6 hrs to give us extra bed rooms, toilets and exteriors are very dirty... i am not happy at all at least the basic cleanliness should have been maintained courtesy could be luxury....

Overview: Journey from Puri Rail station was very easy and cool for 10 people when we took a Tata magic. The rate in the pick time of December is also reasonable and it was only 200 rupees. The Hotel is close to Puri Beach, close to Puri Hotel and it takes only 5 minutes to reach there. We have good veg. restaurant inside Hotel however it is costly compare to others available outside. Aahar and Bhajahari Manna are two good food stall beside Hotel Pushpa. So many road side snacks stalls, pan stalls are available. This place was not gathering even in the pick time. Parking: The Hotel has no parking which is a disadvantage who is having their own car. Only one car can be accommodated inside Hotel. Cars can be parked at roadside near to Hotel though. The Front desk: The guy at reception was doing very well to manage customer expectation to arrange rooms before the check-in time. We have to wait for 1 hour after check-in time for cleaning and making the room where I see the guy from reception was politely saying to customer for checking out. Anyways, we got two standard non-AC rooms at top floor as expected and another two rooms at 2nd floor for elder people. The Room: The rooms were not sea facing however from the common balcony we can have better look of the sea and sun-rise or sun-set. It was spacious with lot of chairs. We waited there for a long time with my family members. Rooms were reasonably clean but rooms are not big as like as AC rooms. Linen was changed several times and I got the cleaned one finally. They said this is due to the pick season and assured to give the best in other times. Food & Room Service: We did not take room service a lot as food stalls outside was good for us however it was good and payments made finally at the time of checking out. Car Service: Car Service at Hotel is not fully managed by Hotel and we met one person who approached to us for a 10 sitter car for sight scene etc. and asks for double money. Finally, managed to get the Car delayed for 1 hours with 50% plus cost. Overall: On the whole, the hotel is a good option for budget traveller at the pick time as well.

Looking back it was a nice stay at Hotel Pushpa. Right from the time we checked in to when we checked out it was an amazing experience. More so because some of the reviews were not so good. I wondered why. The staffs were well behaved, cooperative, informative, and always sported a cordial smile. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy. And so was the toilet. The air conditioner was nice too. The room service was always on time and never ceased to surprise us with their effort. And to top it all, there was a restaurant at the basement that served the most yummiest food at affordable rates. The room also provided an excellent view of the sea that helped spend leisurely mornings and afternoons the way we wanted. The guide who took us to the temple for a darshan of the Lord was very helpful and informative. The bhog served was on time and in keeping with what was promised. Last but not the least, as we kept visiting the restaurant more often than not owing to its irresistible attraction, I witnessed a great work culture that had women in almost all positions of big responsibility that demanded grit and merit. It was women's empowerment at its very best. Thank you, Hotel Pushpa. Highly recommended.

We did not stay here, but had meal here 2 days. Very tasty aloo paratha, lahsoon daal, mushroom. Best restaurant in puri . Very tasty food. Restaurant is only 50 meter from golden beach. Nice atmosphere

Management is very inefficient. In spite of booking in advance they were unable to provide proper rooms to us and several other guests , apparently due to overbooking. Room service is almost non existent. They hardly ever picked up calls. Free wifi only in lobby. The proximity to the beach and swargadwar is the best thing about the hotel.

There is nothing to mention good about the hotel. I visited the place with my family and in no time was quite annoyed with ambience, presentation and overall look and feel of the place. You ask for food and you would get after an hour. You ask for room service and you get it after 2-3 hours, or sometimes never. They provided a phone which was not functioning. I asked them to replace, but no response. Please don't stay in this can get a thousand better options in the same or lesser prices.

Only 2 staff were able to communicate decently in English, despite all the English signages in the hotel. Stayed 2 nights. Asked for breakfast on the go for the 1st day as I had to leave at 7am for chilika lake. They offered bread toast which I was fine with. En route to chilika, I found out that bread toast was just bread toast. No butter or jam! Had breakfast in the hotel the 2nd day. After 3 delays it started at 8am and just as I was about to take my food from the buffet counter, the staff asked for my breakfast coupon which wasn't given to me upon checking in. I told them that and they asked me to get the coupon or I couldn't have breakfast. I got mad and told off the staff! She called the reception on the phone and the issue was settled in a few minutes. Breakfast was very mediocre. On the 2nd night I felt lots of itches on my body and was scratching a lot. Got up in the morning to find a bite mark and swelling on my left elbow. Staff at reception weren't too bothered when I showed them my arm! I can only hope that its nothing serious. Never going back!
