I had made reservations before landing here, and checkin process was smooth and hassle free. The rooms are comfortable and service is good. I was expecting linen & water bottles to be changed after day-1, but when it did not happen automatically, I asked at the reception and they got it done, so no issues. The hotel offers a Panda who escorts the guests into the temple and this is a free service albeit a good tip to the panda is appreciated. The hotel also has a "Pooja room" where one can offer prayer or Sandhyavandam which is much useful facility for me and hopefully for other guests. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Location is 200 m away from the temple and about 2 kms from the beach. The only downside of the hotel is surprisingly its restaurant. The taste is really not up to the mark and at dinner on one day i found a few strands of hair ! The waiter coolly asked me to remove it and commence eating. Really! I made a fuss and got the dish replaced, but this left a bad taste ( hehe....pun intended!) in the mouth. Food quality is really poor and I do not recommend this to any guests. An easy alternative is to walk out of the hotel and into any of the many restaurants close by that serve good Marwari meals. One other point is that all taxis/autos stop half a km away from the hotel, so if you have infirm/aged people along with you, some walking is inevitable as not all aged people may be able to climb a manual cycle rickshaw which is allowed upto the hotel. Overall, good hotel that is close to the temple and offers a comfortable stay. Just don't eat here!
