Yes maybe they have not a top equipped rooms but definitely they have perfect and the best hospitality and sharing that you can have there. And if you are searching the pure taste of ancient India and mysterious gathering of local people and sadooes ... chinoo will be the best guide for you... I found there the whole idea of ,dhagee, or forgiveness ....
I appreciated the cozy and calm rooftop of Mama Luna with a good cup of chai, enjoying the beautiful view over the city. Located on a side street, yet in the center and therefore close to all main attractions, this place is very relaxing. The prices for food and drinks are very reasonable and the owner is fantastic - very welcoming and helpful. Thank you a lot!
Staff lied to me several times and were not nice. Would NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE STAYS HERE. So I booked mumaluna hotel directly and paid online to ensure I secured a room in the busy camel fair. When I turned up they said there was a problem with my room and the water pipes had burst and won't be ready for 2 days. However someone else eventually admitted they had forgotten my booking. They put me in another tiny hotel, that although the manager of this hotel was lovely, was not a nice place to stay with very unhygienic bathroom and no sink and a very unsafe feel to it. After 2 nights went back to get a room in the hotel mumaluna that was promised and they continued to lie and and said 'oh yes we do have a room' then 'no we don't' and asking for more money and changing prices. After asking straight out if they have a room? They admitted no and 'possibly tomorrow', which I didn't believe at all after being messed around so much. What made things worst is that I was suppose to be staying here alone as a young solo female traveller, and they put me in very unsafe accomodation. Luckily, last minute I had a friend with me. The manager and staff were horrible and completely inhospitable. Do not stay here. Got my monet back after demanding it, which was difficult and was given 1000 rps notes which had already been voided by the government. Eventually found other accomodation myself and was much happier.
Genuinely perplexed by all the good reviews for this place. Probably the worst place I've ever stayed in. It's grimy - completely unclean and shabby. Blood stains on the torn bedsheets, bath mat which appeared to have not been washed in ten years, paint peeling off the walls. It was very expensive for what it was , although I think we paid a premium as it was the Camel Fair. Don't stay here. You come out feeling dirtier than when you came in (and that's saying something considering the streets).
We arrived there late in the evening, so we left our bags and stuff and went for dinner! After we saw the room was full of mosquitos and very dirty! We had to change to another place... not good at all! We went there because we saw a very good review about it and we got very disappointed!
