OK hotel. OK hotel.

by us3345632 on November 21, 2016

Hotel is OK, nothing really wrong with it, but it won't blow your socks off. The big benefit to this hotel is it is very very quiet. However, that means it is also a good 20 minute walk from town along a dirt road. The room was very basic and simple, not much character or decor. The food was good. Wifi was an extra charge which was only 100 rupees, but not something that any other hotel in 2 weeks of India has done and seemed silly. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Just FYI -- breakfast has no eggs and their restaurant does not serve alcohol.

Nice, characterful hotel, not great staff Nice, characterful hotel, not great staff

Nice looking hotel with lovely big, nicely decorated rooms with huge beds. When we arrived, the hotel staff were not at all welcoming and there were so may signs telling you what you can not do. Also you had to pay for the Wi Fi. In the room the room service information also has a page on strict 'rules'. We realised we were in a vegetarian, non drinking town and these values were certainly strongly enforced in this hotel. Breakfast was a different story. The staff here were lovely, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It was certainly service with a smile. perhaps these staff should take over reception! Great porridge and pancakes as well as a variety of other Indian dishes. Location wasn't too bad, lovely and quiet - a bit of a trek to the town but a pleasant walk, luckily there were plenty of tuk tuks to bring us back. Overall I would stay here again but please, reception staff, smile and be a little warmer and more welcoming - Oh and I loved the tortoise in the garden

Nice place. Nice place.

Nice place to stay. STaff were friendly and helpful. PLenty of food for breakfast. POol was a welcome relief from the heat. This hotel is not luxurious, but it was more than comfortable. It was all we needed.

The hotel is very nice. The rooms are clean, comfortable. The staff is helpful. The breakfast is OK, it is vegetarian without eggs so for western people it is little poor. The location is a beet far from the center but still not too far, and it is quite.

totally disappointing totally disappointing

After travelling through rajastan this was the last hotel i stayed in, and what a disappointment. Where do I start? The reception when i arrived, rude and indifferent, and unwelcoming. Then, the ONLY hotel that wanted to charge for internet, 100Rp per day, as if!!! The room was unpleasant the bed hard and overall dirty. Breakfast.... the continental breakfast consisted of rubbery chocolate pancake and cornflakes, Yum (NOT!!!) and the pool was green, with things floating in it. I think I would have been sicker than the Dehli belly I got, if i went in the pool . Pick up your game, India is a beautiful country, and you do not contribute to it.
