It was a good stay. The rooms are very spcious to give you more room for everything. It is a big hotel and not a crowded one. The rooms are clean. Overall a recommended one.

I was here many years ago but still remember service and ambience this hotel offers. I admire this hotel for superb rooms and value for money. Food was also good. Recommended!!! Enjoy your stay at one of the hottest city of India.

Please avoid this hotel - 1) No Ac 2) Poor management. 3) Worst Manager I have ever met. 4) Rooms are dirty and dusty. 5)In my opinion hotel should be close asap. Don't go there and don't trust piccadily mangers.

Although the Rooms are good & hotel located very conveniently ,the poor room service will bring down its reputation.All the staff starting from F.O. to room service were behaving like trainees.The AC is non controllable,without Fan on,one can not feel comfortable at all. And being in Raipur if you can't control the temp...then it is a big big problem.....

I stayed one night in this hotel (room 209). This property is big, but maintenance is awful. My initial impression was rather depressing. Poorly lit corridors, paints peeling off, smelly rooms, poorly maintained bathrooms. The room itself was not too bad, but the blanket looked very old. There was no cold water in the bathroom - which I realized only when taking the shower! The bathtub was stained - perhaps not cleaned properly for years. The restaurant service was very slow, but the only good thing was that the food was well prepared and tasty (we had tandoori roti/lachchha paratha, plain daal, alu-jeera and alu-dum). I do not think I will return to this hotel again.

Rather costly considering the general state of disrepair. Pros: The usual electric kettle, tea bags, coffee, milk and sugar sachets; towels and toiletries, fairly smiling and prompt service The chef seems to have a good and innovative hand with some dishes (I enjoyed his interpretation of dry seasonal vegetables-some carrots and beans or peas on large pineapple rings on a bed of cabbage leaves, slathered in a light creamy/cheesy sauce of a rather butter chicken gravy nature with some potato fingers to the side. Also noteworthy: an Irish stew which was light, but rather Thai or Malaysian Chinese inspired with whole cloves of soft garlic and wedges of ginger. An excellent Mojito Cons: Hair near the bathroom dustbin Bathtub with a rather discouraging looking floor but not useworthy as the water flow is unenthusiastic Small roaches over the bed Extremely coarse blanket Even so it was an ok stay -but too expensive for its drawbacks
