I booked a room..unfortunately because of the tense situation in the state i could nt move out so i tried to cancel the room.I was told I lose the first nights tariff .why should not Travel Guru take enough care to tell the customer s that one day booking attracts no refund..when i was asked to see the invoice I realised thet no refund matter has a veil.if there is no refund you can tell the customer well in advance in clear terms . let not customer be taken for a ride please gandhi

It is one of the best hotels in Rameshwaram. Particularly I liked the location. It is very calm and just out of the busy untidy streets. The staffs were very friendly and dining was also good. Would book in this hotel again.

The hotel is a new one and they have to still improve on their services. Hot water not available 24 hrs. Food also available at specific times only. At tourist places food etc. availability should be round the clock.

This hotel is simply excellent though expensive, however the experience was really rewarding. only negative point regarding the hotel is its location.

So, we hadn't booked any hotel while visiting Rameshwaram (subject of another review you'll find here). We had a temporary hold on a hotel that boasted of being right next to the temple but soon realised that all hotels near the temple did not offer parking facilities. So we chose to driven out of the core temple zone to find a place to shack up for one night. Nothing fancy. It was reasonably clean. The television worked with cable. Air-conditioning worked and as it was a weekday, it was thinly occupied as well as managed. The Porter who helped us get one of our bags to the room, waited and was quite adamant that he gets a tip. The food offered in the hotel below is average and nothing worth mentioning. While it met the requirements of three hardy men, the women, if they are used to any luxury, will.not enjoy the place. Seek out the Hyatt or Hotel Devi nearby. The mugs had thier handle broken and their were lizards and coxkroches in our room which we ignored, but maybe, others won't. One could make out a lack of apathy with the standards rapidly going down unless the management decides to pull up thier socks.

The hotel is being run by bunch of ruthless host how have very limited knowledge of treating their guest. This is being seen right from the reception, manager and also the restaurant staff. There are not much facilities. WIFI connects but doesn't work. During our stay we happen to ask for extra plates, spoon and glasses. The house keeping / restaurant guys denied saying they do not have extra plates, spoon etc. this is ridiculous reply from them. Later on ordering water it took very long as if they went to some well to fetch water. They ended up getting a jug of water which had flies in it. Our bedtime was welcomed by bed was welcomed hosted us with bed bugs and the toilet with broken tap. Dear Travellers please avoid this hotel if you dont want to loose your mind during your holiday season.

After checkin we were told that the tariff was Rs.1300/- above as quoted in TripAdvisor. When questioned they told that TripAdvisor has not updated their tariff hike. It's a cheating. So we left and stayed at another hotel. After 1 hr again they called us n told us to comeback n stay at the tariff as stated by TripAdvisor.

First and foremost thing is the reception staff are not helpful. I had my booking done through a travel agent and those people dont even know about it. Eventually i had to tell them but they were still not understanding. At last some how they found my booking and gave us our room. Restaurant is very bad not upto the mark. Many people from all over India visit this place. They have only Tamil meals for lunch and dosas and idlis for dinner and same thing for breakfast too. Dont expect to get tea in early morning.

Room is good and meet the expectation, front desk is helpful but not very friendly. The worst thing abou this hotel is their restaurant , as this hotel located away from city or any restaurant we expecting the restaurant in this hotel to be good, but most of the item is not available and even coffee not available.

Demo Trip Hotel is not very high, so any rooms is just as good. Lower floors is better just to avoid if the lift is full.
